30s? i got mine set off by the heavy mg nest one time calliope is glass cannon hand grenades on the rack will kill it. yeah lot bang for the price but you have bomb on your head and target on your face in it.
I think its a fair price to pay. I sometimes feel dirty the amount of kills i can get in that thing.

I really am hoping for a more balanced matches, because population imbalances are just killing the enjoyment of the game. You can either play deserted campaigns or turbo hyper stack PVE.
BUT.
A lot of the BR system is just plain bad. Is a single gun worth as much as a heavy tank? What about a pistol? What about a flamer? A plane? Impact grenades? Grenade launchers?
The BR will most probably be a massive disaster, with each tier being cursed with some “meta” wrongly BR-scored thing. (flamers vs bolties?)
How do you even assign BR values to half the planes?
The Tunisia A-20 is amazing for crushing hapless infantry, but it’s almost unusable against any armor, after the M8’s were fixed and now the plane can rip, so it’s very hard to get good top down hits…yet that plane is the last level in progression. The Beaufighter at least has a theoretical chance of being effective against best Tunisia armor…but it’s more clunky, less maneuverable, kind of slow, generally food for basically every single plane outside the damn stuka. Or you can use the painful SDB that will delete any tank in the game…but also takes about half a match to get there. The BR system basically makes no sense for those 3 examples. Half the russian planes are similarly worthless. Will IL-10 be higher BR than the Stalingrad P-40? Why would it be? All the Moscow CAS planes outside the IL-2 are pretty terrible for anything outside bot farming too. And all the 110/410s that carry multiple 250’s but drop them glued together…good luck rating it all.
Most of the annoyance with grayzone camping comes from the fact that some campaigns like Moscow Allies or Tunisia Allies have maps and weapon comboes that simply leave some tanks invulnerable unless you bring max level or even premium tank. In those campaigns handheld AT is not effective if you cannot flank and the CAS options are annoying (I guess Moscow IL-2 can still somewhat work…but it’s a bit iffy at times, but in Tunisia it’s just cursed - either you use the slow as a dog SBD or play roulette with the damn rockets)
And there are plenty of spots where the damn tanks just sit so far back yet are able to rack up 50 kills by shooting either directly into the cap or sometimes into THE DAMN SPAWN while themselves comfortably covered by magic no-go field
Yeah, Moscow has that issue too so dose berlin, though i think the boundary lines in berlin need to be redone wholesale as they are worst in game for placement.
To me, it is the lack of maps that is the biggest hurdle for what they want to do.
Another problem is that they don’t seem to know what they want to do, and lean towards games we all are trying to get away from. The more historically accurate with deep detail will win the day.

no, it wasn’t half bad until recent hyper power creep where you have almost the same weapons and vehicles in every campaign
