If by Horten you mean the German boomerang, you probably don’t want it as endgame attacker. Airborne AT guns currently don’t do crap.
The 262 itself can come in multiple versions, from guns only to guns and bombs/rockets (expect premium Pulkzerstörer).
If ever, an Arado would surely be a better attacker than the Horten. Yet, it had better come with its maximum allowed payload, or else everyone will just stick with the Ju188.
Honestly, I would love to have purely because of its look. I really love this plane visually.
And wiki says it could carry up to 1000kg bombs. So I think without AT weapon version loaded with bombs could be usable.
But I’m not a plane nerd imho. So my opinion in this matter really isn’t somewhat relevant.
But you are right about Arado. I completely forget it’s jet plane too. It would suit this role way better.

I have moderate experience with the Horten from WT. There, it’s a guns-only plane, with some AT capacity due to being able to equip HVAP shells (which used to be OP, still good but not so much anymore).
If you have WT installed, you can preview it in X-ray mode. It’s very cramped inside, no room at all for internal bomb bays, and giving it a bomb rack would make it an even greater fantasy license than it already is. (Iirc none was actually combat ready)

Horten and 262 are sexy, arado is a beast.
Arado c3 is the bees knees (also has 20mm offensive canons)
In order to be (arguably) preferable over the Ju188, an Arado should get at least a 3x 500kg, with separate drops.
