Mark my words, since we have Tiger II H now, nothing stands in the way for IS 3 to be added

That it was much easier for Tiger II P to kill T-34-85, than for T-34-85 to kill a Tiger II P.

Sir is much easier for the T34/85 to one shot any sub Tiger II tanks and that 36 levels of tanks you are comparing vs the first soviet tank, do the math

Like ffs the first German tank is a Pz IV J, the worst piece of shite of scrapt metal in this campaign

And you think that piece of shite has any chance killing a IS2 in the front? Hell no, unless the IS2 user is blind

Yes, Panzer IV J can kill IS-2 (1943) exactly the same way as T-34-85 can kill Tiger II P.

Moreover - it is much easier for Panzer IV J to kill IS-2 (1944) than for T-34-85 to kill Tiger II H.

Oh yeah I can smell your BS

What is easier? A T34/85 killing a Pz IV J or a Pz IV J killing a T34/85? Hum?

T-34-85 against:

  • Panzer IV J - very easy to kill
  • Panther A / G - similiar in power
  • Tiger II P - possible to kill
  • Tiger II H - nearly impossible to kill

Panzer IV J against:

  • T-34-85 - easy to kill
  • IS-1 and IS-2 - same like T-34-85 against Tiger II P

You can one shot a german tank in the turret with the 85mm while the 75mm can’t do that shite, the Pz IV J is slow, non sloped armor and a subpar gun against any soviet tank, you are telling me the 75mm L40 can pierce IS 2 1944 hull while in my test range the 88mm bounce off the hull in long range? Yeah, mate that won’t cut

You are telling me the T34/85 won’t cut it even that lil shit can kill all 36 levels of german tank without effort but now is a problem when they can’t kill the last one without effort?

Stugs and Panzer IVs did indeed destroy many IS2 tanks in the real world, but yea still good point.

IRL the soviet tank quality are dogshite even the short barrel 75mm can shit on their cutting budget weilding or send internal spalling right directly to their crew face

Not for “36 levels of german tanks without effort” but - up to level 12, when T-34-85 meets Panther G.

Still can one shot it by the turret? Your point?

My point - that it cannot do the same with Tiger II H. A player in Tiger II H can be blind, but still 100 % safe in a gray zone.

100% safe? You kinda ignore the fact that also apply for the IS2 or the fact that Panzerfaust and bombers exist

T-34-85 is not a IS-2. With some luck Panzerfaust 100 can penetrate turret or body of Tiger II H, but tankers cannot equip Panzerfausts or use bomber planes.

Same as late war german tanks where armor would split and fall off with just being hit by 75mm HE shells and transmissions spontaneously combusting to flames…

true that.

Havent we had this discussion 100 times over.

Infantry is king. One side having a tank advantage (for a period of time, and only in tank v tank) has been a thing for ages. T-50, t-34 (moscow), kv 1, jumbo, panther etc etc.

As long as infantry and planes can delete them at will (used properly anyway), its not too bad.

I havent looked into the specifics but i assume a panzerschreck should spank an is -3

Pz IV J can easily fight IS series

T34/85 can kill all German tank except Tiger II H (Mostly aiming at the turret)
Pz IV J can kill all the Soviet tank (Mostly aiming at the hull)
T34/85’s advantage only exists whem fighting Pz IV J
for the IS-2 and Tiger II
21s reload vs 8.1s reload
meanwhile one shot each other and all other tank

It’s much easier to destroy IS-2 1944 as a KT than to destroy KT while using IS-2 plus their reload is 3x faster. Playing as Soviet tanker is just pure torture at this point T-34 was superior till they added super tanky KT. Also IS-2 1944 roof is made of think paper you can easily get destroyed by german 20mm canon that is located on their planes, do you know what does it means for Fliegerfaust? It will be the best AT weapon in the game as long as you have high ground (which is not a problem for Berlin)

Sure King Tigers can be destroyed by the 85mm on the side hull and the turret but the problem is the maps in Berlin give no room for flanking in vehicles so one of the few ways to deal with King Tiger being the panzerfaust or a plane but still tricky when its sitting in grey zone.

Same could be said about King Tigers though with steel quality collapsing due to lack of resources for Germany and bombings on factories. We even see more King Tigers in Berlin itself that are in full working order than irl and we still see German planes on the skies from whatever airfield that has yet been taken by the Soviets outside the city.

As an US/GB main I have to admit that I am not looking forward seing Tiger IIs facing my shermans… At least US get a lot of very good fighter-bomber to counter this beast, but I agree that it might be quite difficult for the soviets to deal with the H variant. I still remember the time when the II P came out and that German main were crying over the fact that the P variant has a weakspot in the front of the turret.
