Because holly hell these BR1-2 japanese smg are now completly cracked. The devs saw the japanese underperform in the Soviet vs japan event so instead of nerfing the soviet they turned japanese BR1-2 weapons into BR3…
It’s not like Japan BR3 wasn’t already gifted enough with no risks of being uptiered.

The weapon is called the Type 100 Paratrooper SMG. → As the name suggests, this weapon belongs to the PARATROOPERS! So, give us a PARATROOPER squad with the Type 100 Paratrooper SMG.
Except that the Japanese one has 30 rounds, a bayonnet and one of the highest SMG damage.
Now compare the Type 100 early with the Type 100 late which is one of the best BR3 smg in the game.
There is solution fixing this weapon giving it real 20 round mag and its real rate of fire like the soviets.

How do you compare these two? Slightly more magazine, 0.8 more damage, and slightly better reload time.

The Japanese MP 28 should be renamed to SIG 1920 and have its caliber changed to 7.63 mauser as well.
Again with increasing the fire rate of guns that already had correct fire rates. It should be 600x2, not 1000x2.

So let’s apply the 10% damage negative effect to all Soviet soldiers, because not all of them have body armor, especially in BR1.
And what do the unfortunate Americans have?
So, the Dev’s increased the weight of the KE7 and it now weighs more then the BAR, so, are the Dev’s going to raise the sprint factor of the BAR from 75 to 80? Makes no sense for a heavier weapon to have a higher sprint factor, especially when on average, the Japanese soldier was physically smaller then the Allied soldier. This is the kind of nonsensical stuff I have come to expect from Gaijin.

Same situation here, you’ve turned the unique type 99 into a copy of the type 96.
Very good, now you two go customize the room. You use ppd34 and he uses Type100e. The winner is really hard to determine, isn’t it?
