And the mp18 needs it’s rpm greatly reduced, when they say they use information gathered by players it seems like they ignore most of it and only implement some of the information.
Sigh.
“That’s good, it lets players choose which weapons they want without caring about rate of fire or other attributes”
Then what does this mean then? Seems like you’re advocating for all weapons to be the same so people can just choose the skin they like, based on the comment you were replying to.
The second tank didn’t pop up at the bottom middle, only showing the 3N, it’s not my fault. I rewatached, the Stug shows up on the feed in the right, but not in the bottom middle, for some reason.
Do you even know what a bad faith argument is?
I’m curious how you know, assuming you were talking about me, which context would imply you were.
Can I ask why the rate of fire is reduced to 550 I would understand if 800 is too much but the gun fires with a rate of fire of 700 and there is some books that suggest that the rate of fire is 550 but its not since its only one type of books the Japanese sources and in difference of prototype weapons we have a lot of working type 99 LMGs from world war 2 and you can see that their rate of fire is not 550:
Shooting a Type 99 Nambu in 7.62mm NATO - YouTube
As you can see Type 99 is a high rate of fire weapon.
Japanese Type 99 Light Machine Gun World War 2
WWII Small Arms Series The Japanese Type 99
Those this sound like 550 RPM ? Whoever is making the research on your team should understand its not only look in book data should look on artifacts from the era since they are the best source of information and not the books if you have an artifact from a period its the most reliable source since it can be tested.
So this change actually its not historic.
Then you can compare it with Johnson that has more like 500 rate of fire:
Video—ARTV: Melvin Johnson’s Automatics
As you can see Type 99 has much higher rate of fire then Johnson LMG.
And this is type 96:
First Range Trip with a Type 96 Nambu LMG (I Think I’m in Love)
As you can see Type 99 and Type 96 have different rate of fire.
The Type 96 is much closer to Johnson
Even in historic videos you can see that Type 96 and Type 99 have different rate of fire:
[日本軍] 十一年式軽機関銃と九六・九九式軽機関銃 Type11&Type96・99 Light Machine Gun
So when you make a research on weapons that are well known not some prototype you must take multiple sources and specially existing artifacts from the era since they are the most important in archeology. And Type 99 is not some super rear weapon we cant test or find fully functional, transferable Type 99 light machine guns (LMGs) from World War II are available and can be found on the market that people own and fire and you can see their rate of fire is not 550 as some book suggests. I would have understood that was some prototype weapon that we cant test but we have well preserved fully functional examples of Type 99 so the rate of fire is something like 700 on Type 99.
How do I know this well Louisiana State Museum has made a slow-motion test on type 99 from a world war 2 video and they estimated that the rate of fire is 700 round per minute.
So if Japanese sources claim one thing and US claim another is good to look at artifacts from the era to determent the truth not dismiss one source as unreliable and directly accept the other source. If it was some prototype weapon that we don’t have videos or working artifacts from WW 2 I would have understand it but Type 99 is a well documented and well-preserved weapon that multiple museums have tests made to estimate the Rate of fire there is also collectors that own the gun in perfectly functional conditions.
So it will be far better if you put the rate of fire of Type 99 to something like 700 rounds per minute that is between the Japanese and US sources backed up by artifacts from WW 2 and videos of the era. And finally ww 2 sources on rate of fire are unreliable do to the fact they had no technology to estimate the exact rate of fire that we have right now the Johnson video is a perfect example of misleading information that is world war 2 video that states Johnson had rate of fire of 200 that it didn’t.
And for the Type 100 SMG early there was actually a buffer system that allows to control the rate of fire so the weapon would have rate of fire control system that will make it very unique weapon:
Book Review: Japanese Submachine Guns by William Easterly
Similar to the slow rate of fire mod on Type 1 SMG and Type 2 SMG. Its a good update that increased the rate of fire of Type 100 early but you need to look more info about the gun and same for Type 99 LMG I dont think they are fully historical yet. So for the Type 2 SMG i would say its very interesting since the weapon had high rate of fire and slow rate of fire mode and now the weapon is very very unique and interesting but you should look in to type 100 early SMG cuz its possible it had the same system according to this book:
The same author will release his major work Dragons of Fire that will give a lot of clarity on Japanese weapons of WW 2. But Type 100(early), Type 1 and Type 2 had a way to regulate their rate of fire that increased the recoil of this guns and reduced the recoil if you decide to reduce it so they are very hard to be made but after there is more info about them for sure they will be absolutely interesting and very different SMGs from all other in game SMGs.
If they don’t increase the rpm of the type 99 lmg then I think they should nerf it into br2.
Well they need to give Type 96 its scope and Type 99 700 Rate of fire and they will be very unique weapons. Also they must look more in to Type 100 early since the weapon is possible to have rate of fire control system similar to Type 1 and Type 2 SMG.
Please tell me you weren’t being real when you said ts
The Te-4 MG has been argued for a long time on this forum, mainly by @NonNational, and he used Japanese sources.
The red lines were about the ROF of this gun, we see the blue line: “全備重量 九·二七 キロ” means “Total Weight 9.27 kilo”.
Therefore, there is ample reason to suspect that it was Darkflow misidentified firearm models, which already happened once when Te-4 was introduced.
New WT planned changes alter ROF for alot of vehicles, and HP/speed for Tiger2, will we get these in Enlisted???
(updated to note relevant changes)
Can you please provide a link?
updated OP post, as well as created separate thread on it:
These are not the final changes in WT, multiple players are confirming that the reported Tiger nerfs are inaccurate, and the Sturer Emil isn’t in Enlisted.
Ok, Wiki is correct most of the time, but I respect the Sekrit Dokumints if I see them. Well, so it is now precisely the historic value - after upgrading the MG, we get exactly 2200 (2x1100) in the game. That would check out for an anti-aircraft machine gun. Good job on this one, devs
Excuse me for not trusting random players over gaijin itself for changes to its game, but the reports for the Tiger engine changes seem real.
Idk? Two random fucking people talking about translating documents?
Someone found this on a WT community thread where they were trying to nerf Tiger 2 and Jagdtiger mobility with inaccurate sources. Looks like Tiger E mobility nerf is coming soon too. US mains are annoying, always crying and demanding nerfs.
I mean whats inaccurate about it?

lmao
I’d really welcome a KV2 reloading speed buff… I love that rolling tower.
