you should be aware that taking ofenrohrs from the paratrooper box does not give the soldiers any gloves or mask. This would be lethal in the real world.

I wish this was at least acknowledged the squad itself isnt a general squad that you could give random uniform , it is very special unit that had special uniforms and Japan’s IJA and IJN’s paratroopers wore different uniforms there wasn’t any universal paratrooper uniform @MajorMcDonalds

Japanese soldiers are coming straight from anime, they can jump and shoot their 52kg AT rifles, they can use oferohr and not get killed by it, they can land with 20kg type hei “LMG” and not get killed by it’s metal plates while landing or breaking their wrists/hands/arms/faces.

I find it strange too but apparently before they had some restrictions on it and now they use it like a semi-automatic rifle, they carry 52kg like its a toy gun lmao
Major, when will add the Chi-Se Tank to Japan? I really want a Japanese Heavy Tank. I really enjoy driving a tank that can rotate its turret more than a TD.

BR4 Japan doesnt exist for the moment so I think it can be held off on.
Personally I think massively upgrading the Japanese BR1-3 air lineups is far more important. I mean for a start, army aircraft with air spawns would be massively appreciated. There have been plenty of good threads talking about what aircraft there could fill in those gaps.

Unless Japan will get more squads, Japanese BR4 is never going to be played by meaningful amount of players.
Solely because making presets for BR2/3/5 is more interesting. And now you are out of squads you could put into another preset.
At least in my opinion.

Then how do mortar squads experience requirements work?
Mortars don’t count as upgradable weapons and I guess they are all in the same location in the tree?
However:
Why does squad A require ~4k per level 1 and squab B – ~8.5k?

where do you acquire 2 more mortar squads? are they legacy squads you never upgraded?
I guess yes, never played with mortars, but unlocked those in Normandy, Tunisia and Pacific I guess
