Make the new weather effect impact more!

Is a simply idea wo is already a thing in rts from 20y and i think can be used in enlisted as well

when there are different weather effects on the map such as rain, snowstorms, sandstorms, there should be different effects on the battle

  • dry: nothing

  • low/moderate rain: soldier are more slow and consume stamina more fast, explosive are less effective

  • heavy rain/thunderstorm: soldier are more slow and consume stamina more fast, HE/explosive are less effective and plane cant be used, bomber formation cant be called

  • snowstorm: soldier and tank are more slow and soldier consume stamina more fast, HE/explosive are less effective, plane cant be used or forced to despawn, artillery is less precise

  • sandstorm: soldier and tank are more slow and soldier consume stamina more fast, plane cant be used or forced to despawn, artillery is less precise

What you think?

Tbh I don’t understand the logic behind

Like, wet 50kg bomb is as effective as the dry one.

Its for give a dynamic debuff and balance otherwise tank stonk

Then add raindrops on the sights. It will be pain in the ass to use them.

I guess it’s still BS (as irl there is some rain protection for sure) but it’s less BS than this.

some maps like d-day should not get weather effect. also slowing down the tanks… is not useful when they usually camp in one position… also not possible to implement cause of prebattle loadouts so players with plane will be in unfair advantage. only possible if we had some kind of weather forecast in lobby that would force us to change vehicles…

I Love the idea of slowing the planes down but thats about it. The Oasis map with its sand storm is well bad enough without making it worse ( you can`t see sod all on that map ). Tanks are slow enough as they are. So the idea of making visibility bad across lots of maps would be a no, no for me, sorry

I think planes should be able to be used in rain/thunder storms. The rain shouldn’t make a difference to the plane’s performance the same way as a automobile. However, during a thunderstorm, I think what you mean by you can’t use the plane in the storm because it might get struck down, but, the plane isn’t grounded, and isn’t effected by thunder/lightning. Electricity can only electrocute/damage you or a vehicle if it’s grounded. In simpler terms; the vehicle, in this case the plane, would have to be touching the ground to be effected by the lightning bolt, as there’s a path for the electricity to touch the ground whether it’s through a rope or if it’s parked on the ground. I know this sound’s really irrelevant to what you’re trying to say, which I’m going to be honest, is a really cool and interesting idea, but the science behind the planes don’t make too much sense. An addition to your ideas, you can say in the rain, the terrain is more slippery and harder to traverse, whether it’s walking through mud, or even climbing walls/into windows.
