Really short and simple, Appearance Orders got more use and so are more precious, Callsign Orders (even if used) start piling up after just 10 or so, they’re not needed after that and anything else is exessive and literally worthless, so make them actually useful by being used for this up and coming feature.
It also makes more sense this way, Appearance Orders are obviously used for making Appearance changes, whilst Callsign Orders are used to alter the identities of soldiers so making them also be able to change nationalities is just a natural expansion of that.
Alternative is to merge Appearance and Callsign Orders into one currency, I preffer this solution overall, and I know many others do too.
I particularly agree with this. I have a bunch of appearance orders but no callsign orders, so the other suggestion only disadvantages me (and a lot of other players).
If they combine appearance and callsign orders into one currency, such as the “Cosmetics Order” or something like that, it would be much better.
They already did it once with weapon orders and soldier orders that have now been combined into Enlisted Silver. Why can’t they do it again?
It’s not really a solution though, is it? Don’t get me wrong, I want subfaction counterparts for all squads in the game (and vice-versa), but that won’t solve the fact that we can’t determine for ourselves the nationalities of new soldiers.
Until we get a way to pick soldier nationalities, even just getting the squads won’t actually fix anything, since those British/Italian squads would still be filled with Americans/Germans. Combined these features would provide the solution we need, we’re just waiting for the squads too.
