Trying to play the game with a squad that has no perks either on the soldier or on the weapons is painful. Perks that ā€œspeed up the gameā€ are field training (Since our squads donā€™t actually perma die during or after each match). So, youā€™re taking a trained soldier, and they are gaining more training with each battle (Seems simple to understand, right). By reverting and making the game slower youā€™re essentially saying that doing a skill like running, climbing, shooting/reloading over and over wonā€™t make you faster or better with that skill.

That being said would the animation look cool, sure from someone elseā€™s perspective since this is an FPS and not third person shooter. And also, when the soldiers ran like that it was to quickly move from one spot to the next and in an area that the specific army had secured or as a means to fallback quickly. (Keyword is Quickly). A use case that I can see for Enlisted is if there are no rallies and your forced to spawn at the back. Sprinting like this would get you into the fight quicker or moving across a street from house to house on an urban map.

So, slowing down the game with this animation I donā€™t think so. Not even aiming slower after the run as in the examples the soldiers arenā€™t awkwardly carrying the rifles in their hands. They could easily bring the weapons to bear if they were caught off guard by the enemy.

Indeed, it would be, the nerf Iā€™m referring to is the time to bring it up to aim with sights.

Looks a little weird, besides the fact that I think the aim time in this game is too fast.

I couldnt find it at the time, But little details like this German 1 handed sprint is really good for gameplay!
