We do know that there are players from South east asia who play this game. The problem is that they play on servers that are considered laggy and out of range from their respective regions. The latency is to too high and the ping which makes the Asian players lag and have higher ms and they couldn’t play the game well. Its preferable and highly suggested to add an Asian server respectively so they could have a better experience while playing the game and to prevent them from having unstable ping.
my heart goes out to all of the oceania players stuck between playing on moscow or USA servers lmfao

I live in Asia as well, but somehow I find that my connection is good for all server regions, unlike in WT where EU and RU servers give me unplayable ping and US only gives me barely workable ping.
And sadly Enlisted’s playerbase is much smaller than WT so I don’t think a dedicated Asia server will be worth the costs for DF.

When did this happen? always said they should just give us, the WT SEA server 
2 years ago, it was removed for the reason i like to believe was that the people that would have make up the SEA server left it to not fight against the chinese, including other chinese

It’s because there are many players in SEA and yet the lowest number of those who actually spend money that it won’t even cover the server costs. So it’s a financial decision they won’t open an SEA server.
If they don’t want to do a proper server, at least make the ability to rent servers through a hosting company or something. that way the cost goes to the playerbase for the servers AND you as a company get some money for the licensing. Would probably help with the lag and performance issues with the custom servers in general too.
