Who says that only Germans are playing Axis man? I am not a fkn German. It’s just a game, it’s not that people playing Axis are fkn nazis in real life ! 
Personaly I’ve played both, I just manage to build better squads in Axis and got more levels / xp the reason I am mostly playing them.
In Moscow for example, I am playing Allies because I’ve got more squads/weapons unlocked with them.
And i am pretty sure it’s not only me playing like this. So that thing with timezone, is not an issue.
