nonsense, counterattacks can always fit the into the setting ( besides germans spawning on ohama beach of course )
And if it wont rly fit, the maps could just as well be switched around, so to speak that the attacking axis for example spawn at the last point and have to attack towards the first point.

It’s not a Historically Accurate video game man. People got to stop typing this BS again and again. Its just a FPS action game, not a historical war simulation.
And even if it was why Allies cannot also defend ALL maps except D-Day?

there is no “historical” event that’s against of Allies defending those…

Well. on most of those map (few of them don’t even have any attack/defend modes) attackers start near the beach (Ver-sur-Mer, Ruins of Vaux). So simply changing team and putting Germans on the beach to make them attack would be absurd.
It could work if devs find a way to make Germans attack from the opposite side and push Allies back to the beaches.

exactly! There is NOTHING that speaks against both teams attacking and defending, besides that the devs might want to have it that way.
other than that? All of you guys saying it is historical nonsense for the Germans to attack, you are so wrong. By your logic the Germans should never be allowed to “WIN” at Omaha beach, since that never happened in real life.
