Anti personnel mines are extremely annoying since the defender puts them inside the cp and it’s hard for attackers to see them.
1 don’t call the capture point cp and 2 german ap mines are hard to see but Soviets aren’t

I have long suggested Engineers should have the default ability to disarm mines. I don’t think they should be able to spotlight them like a red x-ray. Maybe make it so only Engineers can hear an audio cue like a little ping when near mines.
I definitely think this feature should be added in game…but the fast nature of this game would make it seemingly pointless because infantry will just zerg into the point regardless. Sure the first wave gets mined but they sacrificed themselves for the rest of the team so on and so fourth.
A disarm ability would only really come in handy if you’re going through a flank or non direct route and happen to come across enemy mines as you make your way.
I will say if objectives and battles were larger then it would really come in handy when you need Engineers to disarm enemy mines all over the objective.
No sorry. Too fast paced gameplay and AP mines reinforce defence and stop games being a steam roll when APing flanking rallies etc

The only reasonable change I ever heard regarding AP mines is letting people jump over them without exploding.
Maybe add a visual for spotted AP mines so people know that there are mines since most people are too retarded to realise that my spot on the ground is for an AP mine.
While not OP enough to be nerfed, when used as for defense, there should be a change to their usage against rallies. Either make the direct drop of the AP destroy the rally point in the close vicinity or disable the respawn feature, or in the worst case, give the respawned player a spawn protection that would protect them against a squad wipe.
Some might take issue with it, but let us be honest. Getting a squad wipe for spending a single second dropping a mine is not only skilless nor enjoyable for the opponent and results in toxicity between players the same way as grey zone camping or suicide diving does.
Another option is to just give AP mines a BR classification of 4-5 and let it be used only there. Those games are already stacked with weapons capable of easily wiping an entire squad, unlike the bolt action BR 1-2 matches, so their usage there would be justified.

Real, your average Enlisted casual is worse than a bot. No rally, no flanking just run towards the objective than complain about tanks being OP (it was actually a rocket barrage that took out 6 of his 7 men but he can’t pay attention to the kill feed and run at same time)
They aren’t OP, but they’re overwhelmingly toxic for no good reason whatsoever.
They definitely are not contributing to better gameplay, quite the opposite.
Imo soldier should have a mine detection perk for spot them at 5m from them, if they aren’t in sprint mode and the mine is in the pov of the controlled soldier
