PPD lmao my bad
Ohohoh not only that: the silencer works and doesnāt attract bots.
Iāve bought 2, then bought the Nightwitches āparatroopersā and created the ultimate troll simp ninja commando squad.
Trolling refined.
(Not to be used vs too serious opponents)
Actually silencer give you less āhateā from the bot than a normal gun
Our bot still dont use sound for localize firing gun they simply if you shoot they know is time to kill you
I know, itās what I meant
I often giggle (girlishly) in a corner, wiping entire squads without them reacting. When you know that squad is lead by a human, itās beautiful. Then I lack ammo, and use a pps42 (and get snapshotted)
The thompson is not better? Expecially for cqc
Bit too much recoil in Stalingrad. Pps42 is pretty much recoil less, can be used at medium range with good accuracy.
Pps42 is the best quality/price smg of the entire game, along Tunisia beretta m1 smg.
Next time i gonna play axis stalingrad im gonna spam mg42 and mkb
I know im late
Better late than never
Everyone is missing the point of the thread and only arguing for or against artillery being OP while the actual thread is about adding artillery sites for aircraft to target.
As someone who uses arty and gets killed by it, this suggestion will only add to the game and it wonāt deteriorate artillery at all.
Since bombers (sorta) can be countered, artillery could definitely use a counter too.
I advise against it. Itās unusable (because bipods mechanics barely works). The recoil of lmgs is different in Stalingrad compared to all other campaigns.
This, combined with awful dispersion, means youāll probably get beaten by ppd38 AT RANGE everytime. Too much recoil. The Soviet lmgs can be used while standing relatively well thought.
Mkb42h works well however. Good compromise between bolties and fast firing ppsh. But not better than mannlichers.
Nothing beats mannlichers.
Thank you for trying to get it back on topic.
As you said, it would only add to the game, as it just adds a counter to artillery.
Ok first off arty was nerfed a while back they had it where you could launch as many strikes are there were active arty squads simultaneously. Thats when the added the cooldown and only 1 arty per team at a time.
The 30 second cooldown only applies to and actual radiomen squad, putting radiomen in other squads they are stuck with like a 3 min cooldown, and it is easy as you mom was on prom night to avoid getting hosed by an arty strike, lay down behind any kind of structure should keep you mostly safe unless the round lands on your side of the barricade, the the blast is mostly up and out, was anther thing they did in a patch a long time ago.
I have laid in a bomb crater and lived with no dmg during a strike. Total skill issue for this lad and many others.
I just re-read OP where mortars are concerned the reason you dont see them often is because they are not effective if nobody marks targets it bad enough getting them to mark for Planes to hit or arty strikes. So its all a guessing game for that stuff.
This is my point about balance, and having a counter.
Mortars have limited range, limited ammo, and generally require line of sight, or teamwork to accurately use, has relatively small blast radius, easy to avoid.
Planes take time to learn effectively, have limited ammo and a decent distance = time for a re-arm, can be shot down by other planes or AA, blast radius depends on the plane.
Artillery can be accurately fired via map, can clearly see the map when firing, can be hit every 30 seconds if teamwork is involved, or 60 seconds if solo, hits a fairly large area, can be used from completed cover, which nothing else can be.
Effectively, there is currently no counterplay against RO. The OP is asking simply for a way to counter Artillery to put it more on par with the other options. Therefore bringing balance to it without directly nerfing its capabilities.
The counter is either hunt them down or learn to watch for the ranging shot or red circle on the map and figure out where the best places are to avoid the strike, the maps are super repetitive so its not rocket science, even bomb craters make go spots for cover since the dmg cone is up and out or visa versa.
totally a skill/critical thinking issue no need to nerf just need to get on my level bruh
well, this is kinda a reason why roughly the crossplay is a mistake.
donāt get me wrong, iām not one of those console haters, because quite frankly, i used to be quite the opposite, and somewhat, still am.
but the problem between console players and pc, are these type of suggestions.
you canāt really ask a change based on console while itās gonna be implemented for pc as well.
thatās kinda my issue.
both pc and console can and are different experience.
with that being said, i donāt really know how it plays on console, because iām on pc. but i can tell you along side many people that are on pc ( except a few other members which i have no idea which game they play ) artilleries are not really an issue on pc. you can simply flank the red circle, or keep going forward. due to delay of roughly 10 seconds ( or less ) between the appearing red circles, and the first shells hitting the ground. plus the second round that has to come and then the barrage it self )
based on my experience.
they can be effective, but i hardly think invincible.
so⦠idk, thatās just my opinion of course.
Now that radio bombing runs will be a thing after next update , I might consider a radio squad on some other campaigns besides pacific and Stalingrad.
So ye, we might see more radio squads now and I will agree with u.
Even so, you can see HUGE-ASS circles on the map, and of course, you can easily avoid the arty/ bombing by just staying away from the area or just taking some cover. Main problem here is that the guy is a console player, and they have different things to deal with. So itās basically skill issue or just thinking that Arty is to OP because you havenāt taken the time to learn how to counter all this without asking for a nerf (donāt even mention the first nerf they gave us when the arty update was released⦠I mean, all the people crying because it was too hard, while they play a WW2 videogameā¦)
