I do not know whether the devs are working on it or not. I remember reading an article than the devs will develop a Mac version if interests grows. However, I believe it to be better for the devs to do it now. Enlisted is a pretty light game and the Mac version of war thunder actually uses metal. Adding in the new porting kits, a Mac version will not be too hard. It will attract gamers with Mac that want to play shooters. After all, more players the better!
Edit: for those who wanna laugh, I recommend watching āViva la dirt leagueā videos. Worth it.
I understand macOS not being the first platform to release. But just adding a comment here for posterityā¦the game looks fun and Enlisted would be great on a Mac. Would definitely be able to play on my MacBook Pro M3 Max. *War Thunder, also published by Gaijin, runs great on Apple silicon.
But even installing Enlisted in Parallels on Windows 11 doesnāt let it it run.

Go see my new post about anti cheat on Mac using crossover. It has been forwarded, but not fixed. By the way it will definitely run well as it does with my m3 MacBook
simply not worth it. mac has different hardware and software which would require massive dev time. even linux would be questionable if valve didnt release steam deck.
one game dev studio said about mac (or maybe even linux): we had less than 1% of users on that platform, but we had 50% of bugs for that specific platform.
with apple switching to their hardware for both cpu and gpu, not supporting opengl and vulkan API, it is unreasonable to expect any smaller dev to actually simultaneously develop game for windows/linux/mac. even for bigger devs it is not worth it cause of cost of maintenance alone.
All I want now is anticheat support for compatibility layers such as proton or crossover. It is very easy to do. Also, warthunder is a metal game
Canāt wait for the Apple release to last a day before it gets pulled
Impossible
proton support should be incoming cause they announced steam deck support.
enlisted is not WT and DF is way smaller studio than gaijin.
As far as I am concerned steam launch was a disaster, so I do not think deck support will come soon
More like casuals with Mac.
Literally nobody whoās using Mac for gaming can be legally classified as gamer.
Also, it is way easier to make anticheat compatible. It is just a simple configuration problem, as demonstrated by some Linux players
Why? It is not like I do not have a pc. The problem is that Mac has some advantages(such as battery life), that gamers like me would like to utilize
that is probably their proton support
also about WT for mac⦠this is from last year
Iāve recently started having serious crashes with Warthunder once it switched to use METAL only. And since that time my experience declined from satisfaction to occasional playing till my current status which is avoiding to play it.
As a part of the Mac user community weāve submitted a lot of bug reports about Screen Freezing with the Game running in background, weāve submitted reports on Game Crashes. Certain maps freezing the whole computer. Pressing keys would trigger a Command Key press which results in random events and many more bugs. The worst of them is the Freezing and Crashings.Itās been years now since the adoption of the Only Metal Option and from that point I must say that the gaming experience for me as a Mac user declined. Every time there is an update, I would give it another shot but still I get the same exact crashes. And because none of those issues have been seriously addressed Iāve stopped reporting those bugs. And Iām writing this as another documentation for the supervisors that they may learn how terrible the game support is to Mac users.
Since it is so simple, devs should just do it. I know at least two Mac friends that crashed a lot of money into Minecraft and would like to play enlisted
