They just didn’t disclose the brief introduction and emblem of the regiment. They may also hope to attract some players and create topics through the appearance (clothing).
The Kuomintang moved to Taiwan in 1949. Taiwan issue, do you understand?
According to the corps emblem and introduction issued by darkflow to this corps, this corps is the 66th Infantry Regiment of the New 22nd Division of the Kuomintang. This unit was successively affiliated with the Fifth Army, the New 1st Army, the New 6th Army, and the Ninth Corp group[. Except for the clothing style and color (excluding any logo), it has no significant connection with the Eighth Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army/the Eighteenth Group Army of the National Revolutionary Army.

Chinese New Year is not a lunar New Year!!!!!!!!
Yes, it is not.
Yet we are celebrating Lunar New Year, not Chinese New Year. Deal with it.
Well okay, those are indeed good for BR2 guns, but the new Chinese BR2 semis deal damage that is unique in BR2, usually BR4 semis or some BR3 deal 15 + damage.
Actually the Winchester does 15 damage fully upgraded
which one?
interesting - I missed that one it seems
Old 4 men engineer premium squad from Pacific campaign, if I remember correctly.
rather weak squad so. Well 15 damage in a 4 man squads vs 9 man squad sure seems like powercreep hehe
You can get the same power level with a rifleman squad equipped with armagurra mod 39
Reddit seems to be adamantly and actively anti history lmao
While their best argument is “who cares it’s not history class”
Which is ironic, since if they believe nobody cares what happens, why not do things right in the first place
The ignorant won’t know what’s going on and those who went to school would appreciate it
Idk if this is really as much of power creep as people think.
it is like, powercreep in a catogory that was never to strong to begin with, namely, BRII semi’s. Also, M2 Carbine is probably stil stronger, so you can stil create a 9 man BRII squad that is better, you can also make a similar squad for Japs and Germs with Type Hei and Armaguera respectively.
So idk, there is definitively powercreep, just look at the Winchester semi auto on BRIII of the last battlepass that weapon is way to powerfull to fight against BRII stuf. Or the constant escalation of power on BRV for all factions, which have all their weak points addressed one by one. So, the Liu is just not the best example of powercreep it, even with its many advantages over previous semi-auto premium and events squads.
But armaguerra doesn’t one shot kill
It does 1 shot down fully upgraded though
Oh yeah absolutely true on that - I would add that Semis in general are weak, if anything the addition of those guns is a overall indirect buff to semi auto guns - even if limited to this squad, it creates reason to buff other semis.
Not against vitality
13.6 vs 15.3 is quite a gap tho, and it goes down to 11.1 at 100m.
I honestly don’t care about this.
I care about powercreep in the context of the squad suddenly getting engineer and AT soldier. While all those old 9 men rifleman squads got completely screwed.
It’s a completely toxic precedent that quite clearly diminishes the value of all the previous squads that people invested time and money in.
If they wanted to implement this change, they should have addressed it somehoe to the older squads as well (like they did recently to some other premium/event squads of different class type).
Only in this case it would be much more complicated, since those rifleman squads already have the maximum number of soldiers.
