Great gun, kinda poor armor and no MG.
Are there players that are against that? Is 7.5cm L43 too much for BR2? Marder already has that gun, but at least Marder has a MG.
Or is a couple of HEATs for Panzer IV F1 the better idea? Or even both?

Just a couple of thoughts:
First it has 50mm of armor - very typical of German BR1 and BR2 tanks
Its mobility is quite nice, turns quickly and smooth just like the other Panzer III versions.
It has no MG, and anti infantry power would be limited by HE from its main gun.
Its got the slightly weaker Panzer IV F2 gun, which is however still strong enough to even fight many BR4 vehicles. (Too much for BR2?)

Stug F has no place to be BR3.
Just compare it to other tech tree tanks. They’re straight upgrade to it.
Pz IV F2/G/J/H, Pz III N…

Ive advocated for the Stug going down for ages now, Id be super happy to see it, the Marder 3H may as well go down with it.
And its clear that the F1 and maybe the 4E as well deserve the same HEAT the 3N used to have.
Honestly all the casemates in game have real cause to put them all down a BR, with a few exceptions such as those which already went down or the Jagdpanther/some of the later Jagdpanzers.

Also another argument for STUG to see some love:
STUGs were historically the true backbone of the German Panzer force - STUGs were extremely successful and mass produced. Stugs were everywhere in every front with estimated kill statistics from incredible 16:1.
STUGs were the most produced armored fighting vehicle for Germany, and I recently heard that it is the vehicle type with the most confirmed vehicle kills of all time.
STUGs should be more present.

I guess it makes sense.
But part of me don’t want Marder to be completely obsolete (nobody uses it but still).
Also I want TT short barrel stug. Justice for infantry support stugs!

Well I do actually use Marders here and there, because it has a decent MG - if the map isn’t too chaotic it can utilise its anti infantry power even though it is open top.
I do think it could be an alternative to STUGs specifically because of its MG.

I disagree, it’s true that tank is weak for BR3, but it’s very powerful for BR2, that tank has strong armor.
and about panzer iv f1, I don’t think making a new pz3n is the right thing to do!
This argument for changing BR is very illogical, we can’t move the m26 to BR4 just because it is worse than the superpershing.
Isn’t it the same as other Pz3 (50mm)?

Well, it’s a little steep in front, and it also has a very small surface area, making it harder to destroy with the AT.
It has the same armor of Panzer III J - which is BR1
Also I forgot to add my old idea of buffing stug by giving him tungsten rounds for better anti-tank performance at BR3.
