Don’t know, in general I think rate of fire for the regular MG42 should be corrected to 1200 RPM first, before discussing other changes.
It makes no sense to have the most iconic MG of the entire war have a reduced rate of fire - which was iconic specifically because of its increadibly fast rate of fire.
That’s why there’s the regular MG42 that everyone can unlock, and then there could be one that’s not like the iconic MG which has lowered firerate. Now im not genius on Weapons Manufactory of the weapon, but im pretty sure to that it has kept it firerate between all its real life counterparts and that you are right about.
This suggestiom mainly comes up to make the other versions stand out besides they’re cosmetic looks and give the opportunity for players who do not want to move up a tier from BR4 and keep themself at BR3 between the higher and the lower tiers to switch between the MG34 and the Premium Early MG42.

After the merge, I don’t see the importance of adding more maps to a campaign since there is much more new campaigns to cover.
mg42 fire rate is between 900-1500 rpm in base at what bolt is using, simply all mg42 to mg45 variant in the game use different bolt and have different fire rate, thee is nothing to change or buff

This is indeed a problem with many premium units and items. If anything, that squad should get into BR3 without a change, since that was the whole point of buying it - being able to bring an MG42 into Moscow.

A fair solution to abandoning the current BR system, as long as people would be able to play the moscow campaigns it should be fine.
Honestly if all map’s we’re avaliable for all BR’s so i could play Moscow i’d gladly move up a tier, its just that if a weapon as strong as the Early MG42 would move to a Tier like BR3 that fights BR1 and BR2, i’d think it be fair to balance the weapon so its equal to other weapon’s at BR3 and lower.
