Partisan mod PPSH-41
This model of the PPSH have a modified magazine that was cut shorter for to have a smaller size while give it more control but in turn gave the magazine a size of 25 rounds
Due to the mag size this gun will be BR2

So basically just PPD-34 but on BR2, nice.
It would be pretty bad in comparison to every soviet BR2 smg.

It would be an improvement for a level one smg, but your correct, it wouldn’t be worth using over the PPS42 or PPS43 in level two. If DF were more open to suggestions, this would be a nice addition as another choice for a level one smg, but this, like most other suggestions is DOA the moment I hit the reply button below.

I would honestly be ok with this only so I could have a PPSH for low BR. (The Obrez looks too stupid for me to outfit an assault squad with them)

Just ppd-34 with rapid fire.
Use assaulter IV with -24% reload time will be very helpful.

Why do I hate the BR1 PPD? I feel like its dispersion is beyond terrible or am I imagining things?
Well, if PPS43 wouls get the nerf it deserves by moving it into BR2 where it belongs to - this would basically be a Soviet OVP or Beretta but with not terrible sights - especially if it had OP dispersion like Box PPSH.
I do, because PPS forces me to do so.
And you find OVP to be easier to work with than MP40, huh?
You’ve got that giant zoom FOV, you can’t see anything through that Mag.
You must be playing full time hip fire I guess. Otherwise, I really don’t know why would anyone prefer this weapon over the MP40.

By no means did I mean to say OVP is easier to use than MP40 - you are right that this is obviously as far from the truth as possible, but I need almost double the shooting time to kill some with a PPS43 when using a MP40 - I get killed too often even tho I shot first, and since there are a couple of competent full team stacks playing BR2 Soviets I prefer killing one guy and needing to reload constantly than to getting killed first. Yes you dont see anything through those sights, but OVP is still controllable enough to fully commit at doing quick mag dumps. It has faster time to kill than PPS43, so even if I miss a few shots, I would still get the kill first.
Reason no one uses it bc the sights are fucked
Mean while the PPSH have good sights and quick reloads probably even faster than the normal box version
