Linux Support?

Hello! I’m here to ask if there’s any plan to release a Linux version?

Thanks!

I Don’t Think They Will XD

I Don’t Know Weather Linux Can Run Heavy Games. I Never Used It So I Really Don’t Know

It does, I play almost all my games on Linux, also the 90% of the games that exists on Steam runs on Linux natively or via Wine/Proton.

It’s possible in theory, but it sadly looks like the developers are not really interested in Linux at this moment.

While the game currently is running on DX11, the devs experimented with Vulkan in the past.
The technology used by the game (game engine, launcher) is also known to be compatible with Linux natively (see War Thunder), so I suspect that a Linux version might indeed will come at a later point.

For now the devs seem to stay absolutely quiet about this however, most likely because it’s too early to make such a decision yet.
Keep in mind that the game is still in beta and far from finished, and that supporting multiple systems and renderers takes quite a bit of extra effort which should be better used elsewhere right now.

So yeah, probably no Linux in the near future, but at least possible later.

I think you should probably ask Epic when EasyAntiCheat will support Linux, because that’s the real blocker.

3 years later and it’s finally here! There is a native Linux version on Steam now: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2051620/Enlisted_Reinforced/

It has a native Vulkan renderer and doesn’t require EasyAntiCheat, which constantly caused problems on Windows for me. So… great news I guess?
