well, What I felt after playing only the Japanese Army and Short Allies for a week is
Advantages:
The map looks good. Visually.
Overall, it’s not too loose, and it’s not like Berlin has frequent brawls.
Both bypass and sniper play are fun, and I like the fact that there is more room to use the basic ball game.
disadvantage:
The plane is so bad, especially the float-planes with Long range supply point.
But it could be well balance. if faster planes coming up.
It’s too bad that the bombardment call unlocked from Signal1
Both the signalman and self-propelled anti-aircraft guns are only gain kill stats rather than helping the team. with out the capture point.
This is a Pretty bad for both offense and defense.
As with other campaigns, tanks are plentifuly camping in the gray area. Just camping. Even worst for Japanese tanks. more serious problem is Flak gun spam.
M2A1 and M3 Stuart is pretty good. However, Japanese tanks have only 12mm armors which means, Ke-ni have 12mm armor but M3 Stuart have 44mm armor. waht can i say.
japanese 37mm is hard to pen Even M2A1.
Balance Related:
I think the overall balance is good, but if I had to pick an advantageous side, the Allies is the one.
In the end, When all the Guys in the Japanese army goes out of pool after having fun, Allies will have an advantage. I’m pretty sure. Even after 3 days Pacific campaign released, I already feel lots of Japanese army guys left.
