I just tried out the new Japanese rifle, and now I kind of understand why it used to be in BR4 before. As I said before, in terms of weapons alone, the current BR4 doesn’t have an absolute advantage over BR3, but BR4 weapons will be overwhelmed by those in BR5. We all know that if a gun is classified into BR3, it is useful. However, in BR4, no one is willing to use the weapons in this category. Does this mean that we should empty out the weapons in BR4? If the relationship between BR4 and BR5 is not properly dealt with, there will continue to be many problems. Just like the controversy among players regarding the ranking of this rifle, DF may have to make concessions many times in the future.
I still hold my original view. If we want to maintain the existing ranking system, at the very least, we should make BR5 independent.

Unless there are additional rewards for overthrowing a superior, there are only BR2 and BR5 in this game.
BR3 and BR4 always have the possibility of a showdown with BR5, the monster of the game, in which case the only outcome left is to become a deserter or to endure the stress and get cancer.

Yeah if truth is what you said M1907 should go to br4 too just like bteda PG and SVT40drum, if svt-38 wants to stay in br3 it should reload with clip rather than magazine. By the way all br2 semi-auto like germany armaguerra39 scottiX pavesiM42, USA M1carbine and Liu rifle, japanese type hei all should go to br3 to match M1 garand.
But keep on mind of You sepárate BR5 from br 4 and 3 You are going to kill br 3 because it Will be completly dominated by br 4 stuff giving almost no chance to br 3 stuff
What is the point of moving all br2 semi auto to match 1 gun?

BR3 is not much worse than BR4.
Sure BR4 tanks are much better than BR3 tanks, but in terms of aircraft there isnt a significant power gap.
As for weapons BR4 semi-auto rifles are only slightly faster to reload and do 0.8 more damage than BR3 rifles.
Some BR3 SMGs such as stick mag Ppsh41 are even better than BR4 SMGs.
MGs are roughly the same, (MG34 vs MG34 dualdrum or BAR1918A2 vs Jhonson lmg).
Panzerfaust 60 is not much worse than Panzerfaust 100…
Just gap between BR1 and BR2 is bigger and I dont see people complain about it even though BR1 is always matched together with BR2.

I disagree, BR3 would still be often matched with BR2. Furthemore, if you look at the Tech Tree, most BR4 weapons are very slightly superior to their BR3 equivalent.
Tanks would indeed be a problem, but the same applies to all BR anyway. And plane are also more or less similar.
Imo BR3 and 4 are still a good match for eachother and are the BRs with the smallest gap.

well both of you have a good point proably tanks are the only thing were br 4 would smash and probably aircraft since we have the JU-188 i may argue on smgs with the ppsh box and the PPD-40 (for having better mag but worse accuracity) and with the main rifles… yep i noticed that gewerh 41 with gewerh 43 and zh 29 for example have… almost not difference (even better i would have a reason to play with the gewerh 43 a gun i loved before having the FG42 on my hands on pre merge)
