They don’t need to be a separate faction. A subtree can come later, but let us recruit Italian soldiers and give Italian squads outside Tunisia their proper uniforms same with the Bri’ish.

This was already suggested several times before.
From what I remember, their response was that they weren’t planning anything like that, as the UI would be too messy because of it.
(I guess they are incapable of making it so it’s uncluttered lol)

what tech tree LMGs or “assault rifles” would the UK even have for BR5?
these were all designed after ww2, an EM1 for the british would be about as reasonable as giving soviets an actual AK-47

Much less so - at least those did exist in a WW2 timeframe. And everyone else gets weapons that were made in mere handfuls too.
