A tank sitting on a point while troops cap, should get the same points/unlocks/team-stats for helping cap. It just shouldn’t be able to actually push the cap clock.
This would help encourage teamwork.

That would just encourage people to spam tanks and then just drive around and capture points alone. They woudnt do anything else than cap points.

Not really, as they woudnt do anything else, soo they woudnt even cover infantry. Idk how you, but when im in tank, i support infantry all the time or just kill enemy tanks soo they cant hurt my teammates. This would just encourage people to abuse tanks, and not really use them in any another way than to capture points. Imo it is good as it is now. They woudnt support you anyway even if you could capture point with tank.
I dont think this is a good idea, tanks are best used when out of range of the AT infantry, especially on invasion, putting them on a contested point would just be asking to get killed by an Explosive Pack.

If u aren’t getting many points for tank play then that is a l2p issue… asking for freebies is lazy

They could get maybe points for helping the infantry capture points but they should not have any business in the capturing process itself.
And tanks are useful, unless you are thinking this is Battlefield 1 then I have no clue why tanks aren’t working out for you.
Concordo com você, só tem 2 formas de ganhar pontos em tanques: Destruindo outros tanques ou matando a infantaria.
Você não ganha pontos por ajudar o time a capturar um ponto, fazer kills dentro do ponto (Defesa de ponto) e ainda tem o fato dos jogadores não apertarem V no teclado e spotar o Puma muito menos a capacidade de apertar ENTER no teclado e escrever “Tem um Puma inimigo trás de você” fora a questão da câmera atrapalhar bastante.

You’re missing the point entirely. It’s not about points at all. It’s about encouraging teamwork through incentive. Like a “best supporting tanker” award or something. It’s all meaningless but people try to get those achievements.
You can already get ‘best tanker’, and of course people try to get those achievement, as then you get more XP to campaign.
There is a best vehicle squad as well as best tanker (vehicles includes planes), plus you can get gazillions of kills (and hence xp) just by doing your job properly - and contribute to the 50% bonmus for winning - seems like plenty already to me!
