Maybe tanks, sure, but not the main spawn points because you’re punished if you’re too close and there is a shield at the main spawn. Yeah, they could wait nearby until the shield is gone, but that takes a lot of time and takes away from attacking or defending the objective. Rally points potentially, but any class can do that just as easily seeing as most rallys are outside of the grayzone.
This is also why they aren’t a stupid class. Instead of having an idea of where the enemy is going to come from, it can cause some disorientation to be shot from the rear. It’s also very dangerous to stay behind enemy lines because most players don’t have the situational awareness to constantly watch all angles they could be attacked from.
Exactly. It’s great to be able to pick up a really good Soviet or American weapon as the guerilla and turn the killing machine around onto its users. As for them not being better equipped, I agree 100%. Partisans had whatever they could get their hands on. In all actuality, guerillas should really be limited in what guns they can carry. For example, the German guerillas should only be able to use are bolt-action rifles and maybe some smgs like the MP3008 and the MP40, since they are depicting late-war Volkssturm that barely had enough weapons to use. Most other partisans and resistance units had bolt actions and a few SMGs.
And also, any guerillas really shouldn’t be able to have a secondary as typically there were barely enough weapons to go around for each partisan to have one gun, let alone two.
I think that guerillas are very balanced with their loadouts as they are. I think giving them SF rifles and ARs would make them a little overpowered, seeing as they already have good characteristics as it is.
