also there’s no real way of telling if you just suck with planes or are kamikazeing. There’s game developer wise very little that can be done.
in bf they implemented crash-kill for the last player which hit the plane to stop salty players from crashing their planes in dogfights.
maybe add suicide-penalty timer to 30 secs before taking another squad, adding 15s for every suicide you make?

Nice, now count how many of them has reasonable ping 0-60, hell im willing to even stretch it to 100.
After that count how many of the servers has the automatic kick system that kicks foreigners in order to make room for lets say native germans
( Which is understoodable due to voip being must in this game )
And finally, count how many of the servers are owned by same group / hoster / what ever.
As usually if you get banned for being dickwaffle for 1 of the said groups server you will get the ban for the rest of the servers.
And how many servers theres now left to play on ?

I have yet to see intentional teamkillers in HLL

I would really like to love HLL but i cant.
Only REAL Advantage compared to ENLiSTED are few Points, HLL runs 100% but its not enough,
ENLiSTED have Advantages too… they just dont take their 100% Potential.
My Impressions from Praxis HLL:
Main Menu not so difficult but could be easier.
Awesome Hardcore Mode, 1Hit-Kill i love it.
I spawn, get shot in the back from Allie.
I spawn, friendly Tank drives over me.
I spawn crouch 200m and get shot from nowhere
I spawn, get shot by friendly Tank in the back.
I spawn, need 5 Minutes to come in a Village, crouch next to a Wall, Enemy makes a Bunnyhop, kills me before i could react.
After that Torture, i did delete.
Sometimes when i wish i would play HLL, i Remember to this one Match.
I start ENLiSTED and get the Fruits of my GrindWork… 2000h, i CAN have Fun.

You see, in that game you gotta use your brain, communicate, teamwork, move from cover to cover.
If you run around in the middle of the field of course youll get shot.
It requires skill, not to spam SFs like in enlisted
It was in the Wood and i did crouch from tree to tree, but mostly i spawn and get Instant Shot in the back, it was on the first Spawnpoints, not the middle of Map.
After 10h Work i dont want communicate, with my 2-3 Friends ok but not in a 100 Men Lobby.
HLL simply gets more Attention and ride on the Fanboy Hypetrain, the Truth is another.

Yeah, hll and enlisted are completely different games.
Enlisted is an efortless grinder while hll requires cooperarion to do anything and carefull approach.
So it depends what you preffer.
Also kills in hll are much more satysfying and I like this very much.
Erm was this intentionally derailed, I hate HLL and on console it is no fun, it is a walking simulator and noone talks, can’t fly and very much well below Enlisted in terms of Fun. Yes fun not gritty Milsim stuff, last time I did that was as Platoon lead on Planetside 2, but due to lack of pop Enlisted has become my go-to, plus I love flying WWII planes.

I can’t tell how it looks like on console but on PC I rearly meet completelly silent squads and teamwork is rather ok.
Once again we run into the wall that is the current Invasion mode.
Not very many people like the way it operates, but everyone gets sensitive about giving the defenders tickets.
A new player coming to Enlisted, playing the actual game, will have an intuitive sense from either war films or books about world war 2, that the attackers should always have a numerical advantage, because the attacking side expects higher casualties…that’s the nature of assaulting a prepared position.
But, our erstwhile new player fires up D-Day Normandy and watches while billions of Reichsmarks worth of war materiel are thrown (quite literally) into the ground, minute after minute, with no loss of defender potential.
This is such an unnatural, non-intuitive type of nonsense that I could see how it would turn people off…if that was their only experience with the game.
Yet, Invasion mode remains untweaked…and there are, as far as I know, no plans to modify or test new Invasion modes…
so we’re stuck. In the mud. Or maybe the sand, if you prefer.
I don’t know what to tell you, Widow. Add this thread to the dozens and dozens of others that highlight how broken Invasion mode currently is, I guess?
I’m so glad that out of the 4 game modes Enlisted boasts, 3 are utter garbage apparently. Conquest is very limited by map design and is just used as a “there are no players on this campaign currently so we will throw you into a quick Conquest game and hope in 15 minutes there will be more players” mode. Altough I’d like to admit that the most boring and the most exciting matches all were played on the whatever mansion map on Normandy Conquest.
Invasion is hit or miss. Tunisia is straight unplayable on invasion. For some reason it’s either the attacking team gets stuck on the first point or steamrolls. It seems that the pushes there were all dedsigned with the smoke barrage in mind, but nobody uses it because noone really seem to run dedicated radiomen squads. In other campaigns it’s heavily dependent on the map wether it’s good or not. That one beach map that isn’t D-Day on Normandy is straight cancer. Attackers can’t push ever, defenders barely have to do anything, and even if the first point gets capped, the second is even easier to cap. On the other hand, there are maps like Omer and Le bré where the players’ skill seem to be the deciding factor on wether you can win or not. Then there are maps like the new Farm one and Airfield that seems to be decided entirely by which side can get the air supremacy or has the strong tank in a strong position. Everyone else is cannon fodder for the vehicles.
The Destruction gamemode is okay, but it’s usually over quickly because the defending team tries to stack one point or it’s a slog.
The armored train one on Berlin is actually a ton of fun. It’s like the only gamemode where the winners aren’t decided by which side has the more rally points. 10/10.
Then there is the sort of hidden tug-of-war gamemode on Normandy that has not been in rotation since forever where the attackers have to capture 2 points to proceed and the defenders can always recapture them. I’d like to see more of that one if for no other reason than because it’s not D-Day invasion again with the bugged ass mg’s that can’t be destroyed for some reason.
