I saw that you will be adding an AA launcher into the game.
Can I ask that you PLEASE correct the damage of engineer built AAs?
OR at the very least change them to how the AT Field guns are?
Give them the wheeled option rather than stationary and allow them to hit ground targets as well as angle up to hit air targets.
They would no longer have the 360 degree rotation, but could be used against infantry like those weapons at the time were actually able to do.
Both HE and AP options would be available, just like the field gun.
Meaning HE to deal with infantry and unarmored planes,
AP to deal with lightly armored tanks (and their tracks), and “armored” planes.
I was around when that was a thing.
However there are important details that you are missing about that situation:
That was when the Flakvierling was the only AA given to ALL nations.
That specific AA had 4 barrels and a massive shield on it.
(The current AAs have a single barrel, and only one or two even have a small shield)
The HMGs had not yet been introduced.
(The HMGs are far more effective for shorter range and against infantry as their fire rate is much higher, their ammunition capacity is seemingly endless, and a single bullet will kill)
So if they reintroduced it, it would be more of a ranged support unit, rather than the hefty nest that it was at the time.
I just got the pacific map, wow good job, very impressed! But the most impressive thing I say this update, that should help a lot of players out when flying is the flap limit warning!!! Bloomin brilliant addition, let’s see if people get better now
I wish I haven’t moved it from my tankers to my assaulters. Now the MKb 35 is marked Red on the list od tankers weapons, meaning I won’t be able to equip it again
Premium AS-44 has slightly lowered reload speed and recoil, but has no bayonet so have fun running. Dmg and muzzle velocity is identical. PS Fedorov is still the best soviet weapon. Honestly expected them to make f2p AS-44 better than premium one at least with vertical recoil, but it’s already a laser beam with -vert recoil perk so whatever.
wonderful update in all manners! all of it an improvement.
But regarding the UI can we please have back the split squad and to Battle tabs? was much better and cleaners and easier with dedicated tab for squad management and ‘‘lobby’’ for to battle and imrove on that model please.
it was a much more convenient way of management.
And please let us see more of the squads in menus, and increase distance between soldiers so can see more of each soldier and weapons, and please improve on the lacking background for squads, a crate which 2 dudes can stand on is really lacking, would be nicer with placing the squad in a barracks area and weapons, vehicles etc in background, training grounds etc and also let us swith the poses of the soldiers so we can arrange the m how we want em.
Want to include with amazing update in every regard, new map, awesome graphics update, more weapons/vehicles ty so much!
on a last note though, why not introduce incendiary bombs proper? that way the most planes can use incendiary bombs and these drop tank planes will feel special and experimental as should be, since that was not common practice, and I hope down the line we will be able to choose our loadout on planes much like WT, would add much more fun and use to planes gameplay.
again awseome update GJ!
Oh no, the jumping gunner’s sight zoom is still on German and Russian tanks… Please slow it down to the previous value to make it consistent with the engineer-built cannons. This rapid jump always disrupts the view. With slower zoom I can always track the targets, but zooming in a milisecond hurts my eyes, especially when playing on a wide monitor.
I don’t want to go back to that weird split, it was disorienting for me. If anything, there could be an option to customize the menu for every player (or at least just to switch it to alternative version) since it does not impact the gameplay or the balance between the players.
Yeah, I don’t see the need to limit the angle and make it impossible to hurt the infantry, I was very disappointed when this limit was introduced. The HMG’s are already much more effective at dealing with infantry than AA cannons would now be if they could shoot horizontally - they have limited ammo. Good players will understand it and save the ammo for precise shooting and for planes (they will not spam it so that nobody could pass), and the bad players will just run out of ammo. It will be already balanced just because of the limited clips. And historical correctness is another factor. I would fully support unlocking the realistic angles for AA cannons again.
