Johnson mg has potential to be a good gun, but it’s not good as a br4 mg.
Buffs it should get:
rework it’s shot dispersion
reclassify it to be an SF rifle
uptier it to br5
There needs to be another br4 mg to take its place like an m1919 with a smaller ammo belt.
Now let’s not get too crazy.
I would recommend an adhoc M1919 and even M1917 to be added to the RT

americans already eat good with the t20, they are FINE on select fire rifles, in fact, i would say every faction is good with SF rifles now
True its current bullet dispersion is the worst. And just make another variant for BR5 and fix and keep the current one
Just move it to BR III and give us proper BR IV LMG 
Honestly the m1918a2 is enough for me at br3 but I can see the Johnson getting downtiered as an mg too because of it’s dispersion
Well 20 round lmg at BR IV is just not enough bullets no matter how good the stats are
Yea especially when It burns through the magazine as quick as it does. Its just the shot dispersion is a compounding issue along side its mag capacity
I’ve tried to like the Johnson MG, but, just can’t. It is vastly inferior to the level three BAR A2, and vastly inferior to the level five Browning 1916A6 and M2 Stinger. So, unless the Johnson gets a “MASSIVE REWORK”, it’s not going to be anything other then an unused picture of a gun in your tech tree. 
M1918A2 BAR with 30 rounds would be amazing for BR IV and should replace Johnson MG
or BAR with 40 rounds
I’d prefer to have something that was at least fielded or common in the TT though. That’s why I always say I’d prefer the Johnson lmg to be an SF rifle rather than for the devs to bring in the T20. Don’t get me wrong the t20 is good but it does feel weird using a weapon that wasn’t even fielded, let alone not even prototyped until 1945.

As far as I know, this “homemade” modification can only be loaded with 30 rounds, because the spring can’t handle 40.
There were also anti-air BARs with 40-round magazines.
Event weapon then in which case
Johnson LMG had larger magazine but the guns capacity with 20round mag is 25 either they could give it large magazine or increase its capacity to 25(Beside 20 round mag the gun itself have space for 5 more round imagine it like 1 round in chamber but instead its 5 )
