To be honest the japanese tank progression should look like this:
Tier 1:
Type 95 Ha-Go (1938)
Type 2 Ka-Mi
Type 97 Chi-Ha
Type 89 I-Go - Premium
Tier 2:
Type 97 Chi-Ha Kai
Type 1 Ho-Ni I
Type 2 Ho-I
Type 1 Chi-He - Premium
Tier 3:
Type 4 Ho-Ro
Type 5 Na-To
Type 3 Chi-Nu
12cm SNLF Chi-ha - Premium
Tier 4:
Type 3 Chi-Nu II
Type 5 Ho-Chi
Type 4 Chi-To Production
Type 5 Chi-Ri II - Premium
Tier 5:
Type 5 Chi-Ri Production
Type 5 Ka-To
Type 5 Ho-Ri Production *
Ho-Ri II, the real chosen production
The fact that the main line is missing tanks such as Ha-Go, Chi-Ha Kai, Ho-Ro is absolutely criminal, not to mention that incorrect Ho-Ri production has been modelled into the game.

I am pretty sure it is not missing Ha-Go.
Chi ha kai definitely shouldn’t be added to TT. Too late for that, it’s an event vehicle. Deal with it.
What tf is even Ho-Ro? According to Wiki only 12 of them were made.

If they add unique skin to the event chi ha kai and then add normal one in tech tree it would work. Jagdpanzer 4 was event exclusive but they added one in tech tree without skin

Yes only 12 of them but it saw combat in 1944 in Luzon, Phillipines. it was even captured by the US in combat.
It has 15cm howitzer with crazy high TNT filling for its HE shell.

Meh, they could still add the Kai. It should have been TT in the first place. They’ve done a similar thing with the Johnson Rifle which was a paid premium, and this would help un-fuck the Japanese TT.

Ho-I is still overall better than Chi Ha Kai.
So I really don’t get this reasoning:
Regardless, no weapon or vehicle that was standard issue should be anything other than TT. Moving the Kai to the TT would help fix this unjustifiable oversight.

I disagree, it’s extremely weird justification. Especially at this point.
Well we’re just not going to agree then. Can’t say your reasoning makes any sense, but we can agree to disagree. Have a good day!

No. Its unnaceptable. Make the Tiger H and E premiums and see how fast the werhaboos sink this game.

As if Ho-Ri existed in real life lol

5 Productions were being built but they were never finished. It was work in progress.
The production version they chose isnt the one we have in game but the Version II was chosen since its the Chi-Ri II chassis with 125mm thick armour instead of 75mm at the front. This shortened the development time.
