I’m gonna cut to the chase, the Type 100 paratrooper SMG squad should be a paratrooper squad, here’s why.
First, it’s literally a Paratrooper weapon! This weapon is this perfect excuse to give Japan low tier paratroopers. Second the squad is too expensive for medics. If they would change it to a paratrooper squad because let’s be real here, a medic squad is just useless, especially with that weapon, I mean I can give the free medic squad a type 100 SMG and then bam! I have that squad, sure the TT type 100 SMG (BR I) is slightly worse, but let’s be honest m, an extra 70 Rate of fire per minute isn’t that much of an improvement. If they make it a paratrooper squad it’ll justify its price more and boost sales on this squad because instead of an extra medic squad we get a unique squad. And remember devs, I know you guys care about the money, and I’m saying this would make you more money, no one wants the same medic squad with a slightly better gun we can’t change out for something better, with paratroopers, we have the crates, so they can still be viable at higher tiers. Also might I add the MP 18 squad is honestly better than the Type 100 SMG squad and cost much less. So change it to paratrooper squad and then I think they would make more money, and it would be better for low

I agree with ot being a Paratrooper squad weapon. Problem is that its been around for awhile and people may complain about it. And not to mention how lazy cringejan has been lately with poorly down events.
There is like 5 6 versions of type 100 that are not in game that they can give with a paratrooper squad. So they can just give us a new paratrooper squad with the same weapon with bipod or another version of type 100.
They’re useless because type 100 paratrooper is totally terrible weapon, not because they’re medics. Especially since premium medic squad has engineer - unlike tech tree squads.
If they make it a paratrooper squad then it would make the squad better, because we can use the supply crates and get better weapons.
The difference is that is a normal weapon in a paratrooper squad while this type 100 SMG was a model designed for Paratroopers, so it should be in a paratrooper squad.
I say they change the Type 100 that medic squad has right now and then make a paratrooper squad with the paratrooper type 100 SMG.
I don’t see what’s to complain about though, you’re getting better soldiers, you can get better guns out of the loot crates, and if you don’t like deploying out of the air, paratroopers can also spawn on the ground, the only thing you really loose is the ability to Heal teammates, which lets be real here, almost no one does!
They dont want to its one of the few medic squads and it has engineer sadly they pick the weapon for medic poorly…

There’s plenty of squads that are paratrooper themed even though they don’t have paratrooper class.
Especially German ones, they have like 3 legacy ones (mortar, MG, flamethrower), 3 premium (g41,kiraly, bike), 1 event (horn stg).
But Americans do have quite number of them as well. Plus they can buy paraoutfit for basically anyone.
Even Japanese themselves have other premium assaulter squad that are paratroopers.
There’s no real reason why type 100 smg paratrooper squad should be remade into paratrooper class. That’s not how it works.
Nor is worth to copy paste the weapon for another squad.
yeah, I know, it just feels weird sometimes as if devs lacked proper planning.

But not in tech tree it should be premium or event and we have a premium paratrooper squad allready by Japs so event then… Every monkey will just hop out with paras and who are down and fight they sweating blood in mean time the paratroopers comeing just down… Or is there a limit to spawn?
Paratroopers should stay premium ability or event…
