Japan Type 4 rifle Needs to be BR3

Japan’s Type 4 should be a BR3 gun to compete with M1 garand. It is the same reload as the Gewehr 41 with same fire rate. No reason for Type 4 to be BR4.

Move the Type Otsu to Br2 since it is only a 5 round semi auto rifle.

Would it matter though, since even if DF moved it to BR3 it is just as likely to be punked up to BR5 with the soft rule. Changing BR ratings of a weapon only matter if DF does something about their BR match making system. Even if DF did the right thing and made Br5 a stand alone BR rating, a level 3 gun still will be playing against level 4.

While I believe it should be moved to BR III regardless, you do raise an important point.

So what? It is not like br3 can’t fight br2. If you move it to br3, there is still some chance. If you don’t move, there is zero chance.

This isn’t even problem of BR.

Type 4 was very fun and good weapon. But they heavily nerfed its reload speed and now it’s probably worst BR4 semi.

True, but you have as much chance of fighting BR 3 as you do BR5 if your playing Allies or Japanese at level 3, as when I choose BR3 allies and get Japan, I seem to always get a BR5 match, which is why I don’t play level 3 much. IDK about Japan as I have never tried to play above level two, but my guess is the same.

I have seen the same problem when playing BR3 USA. I always get put against BR5 Japan so I stopped playing BR3 USA as often.

Yeah, IMOP DF is killing Allies/Japan level 3. When I do play level 3 Allies and see I get level 5 Japanese, I wait till I can see the weapons scrolling down the right side, and once I start seeing level 5 weapons just bail. I only have my Japanese squads maxed through level two, so I have not tried to play level 3 Japanese, but the people I know who play Japs only play 1-2 and 5, which for the most part is the only Allied levels I will play. I do enjoy level 3 Allies when I get Germany though. I might get curb stomped, but at least I am getting stomped by equal weapons. :rofl:
