Japan needs an army aircraft at low br which can spawn in the air

Japan has 2 army aircraft which can spawn in the air at high br. Which helps high br players take down those American rocket planes. But low br Japan is helpless against p38s. And zero does the job but it takes more than a minute to reach the battlefield. So, I will suggest adding ki 43-ii or ki 43-iii to the Japanese tech tree at br 2. They aren’t overpowered and the only advantage they will have that they can spawn in the air.

Devs probably have probably have to make a decision on whether speeding the game up even more (adding airspawns for all future planes) or slow it down (airfield for current airspawning aircraft.)

Knowing darkflow they might not do anything about it.

Only Darkflow knows. But I want the iconic army zero in the game.

It’s a disadvantage - but there’s an up side - Zero’s can repair

There is no such thing as an Army Zero, iconic or otherwise - A6M Zero’s were navy a/c.

Looks like you know nothing about history. Ki 43 hayabusa was the most iconic Japanese army aircraft of ww2. It was called oscar by the Americans and Jim by the British. This plane closely resembled an a6m zero. That is why some American airmen used to call it the army zero.

No one bothers with repair. Almost every one goes on a kamikaze attack.

I do - often. and see others doing it too.

Just 'cos you can’t manage it doesn’t mean the rest of us can’t.

Well done - you jsut explained exactly why there are no Army Zero’s … while what - trying to show the opposite??

idk I think we need the Ki-43; saw a lot of use by the japanese army units the americans encountered, aloo had a fair bit more ordinance (2x250lb bombs);

having some of the later models of the Ki-27 (the ones with Ho-103 50 cals) would also be nice as a tier 1 aircraft;

Sure having the Ki-43 is fine… no issues with that - just channeling my Mr Picky about it being called “Zero” :slight_smile:

Why have they not fixed this yet?

You expect new equipment to arrive just because of a suggestion and in only a month? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

New to online games huh??

This has been brought up several times ever since they did the whole air start in the pacific thing. This is by no means new.

they’re in a pretty tight fix with the aircraft and tanks available to Japan; especially post-merge;

the last update that gave japan Tier V seems like over-correction in many ways, at least regarding tanks and small arms;

aircraft are still limited though; and the placement of said aircraft, as well as the variants chosen leaves a lot to be desired, though again with Japan there’s the issue that they simply didn’t field many “multirole” aircraft, or really much in the way of fighter-bomber that can still bite back air-to-air wise.

the loadouts are another problem, especially resistance to speculative loadouts or “field modifications” that may or may not have existed or been attempted (and which probably weren’t for good reasons);

  • Like the D4Y2’s ability to carry 4x Rockets; did this interfere with the ability to also carry bombs? would it have slowed the plane down too much to take off from a carrier? what about from a land base?
  • Why can’t the D4Y3 also carry rockets? (probably a wing modification)…
  • would these rockets be any good at ground attack regardless?
  • couldn’t some guns be upgraded or swapped, or re-added when they were deleted on later variants (B6N’s offensive armament for instance)
  • swapping guns; what if a B6N or D4y3 with 13mm offensive guns?

etc. etc. all of this is obviously made harder by the language barrier and a lot of stuff getting burned or buried in the aftermath of the conflict, (yeah I could research but meh…

I strongly support the latter, as the airport can effectively target players who have three queues of aircraft repeatedly committing suicide attacks.

Zero fighters were heavily used at land airfields because Japan was very cautious about the use of aircraft carriers after the Battle of Midway
They call it a land-based air force( 地上基地航空隊)

Such as: Saburō Sakai、 Hiroyoshi Nishizawa,They all fly Zero fighters from land airfields rather than aircraft carriers

Since most of the Pacific battles in this game took place on Guadalcanal, historically the IJN did not dispatch aircraft carriers to support IJA, but instead used land-based air forces to take off from the airport and fly long distances to Guadalcanal.
The U.S. military uses aircraft carriers and land airports for aircraft takeoffs

So strictly speaking, Japanese military aircraft should be born in the air, while American camp aircraft should take off from aircraft carriers or land airports (Henderson Airport)
