Just to put this into perspective, I’d played FIVE total matches as Japan since this was introduced. Even with the few new items in the research tree, I have now completed the entire research tree for Japan.
Something is both very wrong with game balance and very wrong with matchmaking that I can finish an entire tree, and I still get dropped into those matches, of which I have very little need to, anymore.
Oh, this one was particularly fun by the way. “Look, new map!”
idk what you expect from play any? it matches you into faction that lacks players. and cause this update has loads of good US equipment, you can expect that you will be put mostly in japan and germany cause everyone will play US.
a real japan main (like I am) play even if there is no hope for win, thats why even if we are undergeared, outnumbered and threatened by the own company (just compare events and premiums even tech tree with others) we dont give up nor surrender, cowards who quit ruin the experience and we are like 2 american players due our strong (Europe at least) playerbase
Well, I don’t quit either. (As you can see, I stayed in as one of three actual players with 7 bots.)
And it’s been going on for a few weeks. I didn’t mind back when I started the “Play any Army” b/c I was playing probably 50% of my game as Germans and I had a LOT of research tree to work up.
The thing is now, with the Japan tree gone from 1% to 100% full, I don’t get any benefit from playing it at all. (I need to work up some squads to play BR V, but that’s pretty minor compared to the research tree.)
Since the primary bonus is a bit of silver and a lot of research, it’d be nice if they weighted the match making to trees you need more research on.
And yes, if they keep this up, then less and less people will “Play any army” and it’ll be back to where it was before they introduced the feature. I can only imagine that wasn’t their intent.
When it came out, I’d really only played American and a bit of Russian, so seemed (and it was) a great way to get more research and silver.
It comes and goes with how useful it is. For a while there, I was playing a ton of Germany and it was great. I didn’t mind Japan when I had a lot of research to do.
As of two weeks ago, I’d played 103 matches as Japan since they introduced Play Any Army.
I’m now up to 163. Sixty matches as Japan. Thirty as Germany, 21 as Russia and 33 as US. It was mostly balanced until this week. But, it’s more noticeable to me, as I mentioned, since I’ve finished the Japanese tree.

Who when attacking (Run in straight line to point,i lose 1 sqaud take out 10 in objective die and spawn back we have 650 tickets) i would gladly play alone then with idiots ) Im 4 years in the game and today for the 1 time ever i deleted the game
