Although this topic most likely is suggested before but I couldn’t located, i would like to suggest a new mayor Italian invasion campaign.
Italian campaign was a mayor invasion (not as much as DD and Moscow counter-offensive), Allies struck with the help of local Italians and units from all over the world, like Americans, British, Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders, Greeks etc from Sicily up to Rome, with special campaigns like Invasion of Sicily, British forces landed at Taranto in Operation Slapstick up to Liberation of Rome and finally Allied advance into Northern Italy.
I would love to play on this scenario, with units and battalions from all over the world
So many "campaigns could be added. No doubt and all would be unique and absolutely cool to play. But it would split the playerbase more and more and more. All efforts they would do to add new maps to “older” campaigns would be obsolete.
The game doesn’t need battle specific campaigns, moreover front specific campaigns.
Italy could be added to Tunisia could be named “Southern front 42-45” for example.
Pacific war is the first step into this direction.

Yes but for that weapon or tank was not available at the time in that regiment. Squads should then have the option to choose multiple fixed tanks or weapons in the menu.
I want to use tank X in Tunisia
I want to use tank Y in Italy
I’ve read all your comments so far and everyone is right, it didn’t strike me at the time but you right the playerbase would suffer a lot with more campaign, less people in maps, although Moscow and Stalingrad or even Berlin should be Eastern Front and Western Front and South Front should be different.
Africa should be a whole new deal and maybe add El-Alamein at Egypt etc
