If they give us old tech tree campaign squads and old premium squads, there’s something in it for everyone. They must be deaf to not hear how much we want old squads returned. I just pray to God when they do, the old tech tree ones don’t become monetised.

They’re deaf, have terrible business sense or just don’t care what the players want. I have often commented that I managed a car dealership in the US for over 15 years, and had I managed it like Gaijin manages this game I would have been fired well within my first couple years. So many things this company could do to make players happy, and more money for themselves. Closing the BP store was one of the stupidest things I have seen, because now we have to be spoon fed a weapon here and a weapon there in events. However, so far very few weapons have come up in events I want, so they for the most part have lost me as a full time player. I would have played EVERY event, EVERY two day event if they were giving out gold orders for the BP store. I am not going to waste my time grinding for a weapon I don’t need just so I can see it sit unused in my inventory, I already have quite a few of those, along with premium squads I spent my hard earned money on that I can’t use because I don’t need it in the BR rating they have me locked into with their stupid “locked unique weapon”.
And they know the player base wants their legacy squads back, but they just ignore us. And if they ever do offer them, they’re going to gouge us for 5k gold per squad.

I’m starting to think Gaijin and EA are one and the same - just Gaijin is the F2P version. I honestly believe Enlisted is either finished, or has been put on the backburner because of War Thunder working on implementing infantry and their new game Dark Matter. Hopefully once Dark Matter releases we may get more devs back for Enlisted.
I only got one weapon from the BP store before it closed, and that was the Murata Type 22. Which admittedly isn’t a bad rifle, it’s just a Japanese Lebel which I didn’t like too much. Because at that stage I was still only BR II in Japan and I was hoping to get to BR III before getting the Type Hei Lates.
I wish instead of closing the BP store and getting rid of GO, they did a hybrid of what they did now. This new style we are supposed to get more rewards, but at the cost of choice. So instead, why didn’t they just literally increase the number of GOs? 2 x GO for F2P and 4 x GO for premium would be perfect.
I can’t even count now how many events / battlepasses I’ve neglected to grind just because the weapons don’t interest me. I’m pretty sure the last battlepass I ever grinded was the Solothurn one (I missed out on it by 1 day), and the last event I grinded was the Halloween one (which I got a FG 42 that I will probably never use, but at least it was fun).
The White MP40 is a complete joke (at least they increased damage later). If they had had made the higher damage earlier, I probably would’ve grinded it just for the sake of a better MP 40. But honestly speaking, no event or Battlepass really excites me anymore. Like even the Arisaka Mortar is lame. I can get more damage and range from a normal Type 38 GL version.

I know a lot of people get excited for BP weapons, and will play every event to get them just to say, I have it. Me on the other hand, as far as I am concerned, I don’t really own anything, when the game dies, so does all the weapons and premium squad I bought over the years. So, for the most part, I ONLY buy what I think will make my squad lineups better. I have bought tons of weapons in the BP over the years, and most every one I use. I can’t say the same about the premium squads though as some I used when I first purchased, but then either replace it with a better TT squad, or replaced it with a better premium squad. So, I am left with worthless squads I can’t use because I can’t change the weapon. So for that matter, you’re actually punished for buying to many squads. 
Just ignorant management if you want my opinion.
I’ve been playing over 3 1/2 years now, but my interest continues to decline, so, I can’t say I will still be playing much in a year. Both my kids, one 19 and the other 33 were playing Enlisted, but both quit playing a year or so ago. Gaijin is doing nothing to keep me inspired, and I can’t be the only one that feels that way. Maybe they are letting this game slowly wither on the vines focusing their attention to Active Matter. I can say this though, I have no plans on spending money on Active Matter, since I have spent so much here.

I wouldn’t be surprised, if like most other games within 5 years it becomes F2P. PUBG used to be paid if I remember, and it became free. All other extraction shooter games (with the exception of Stalker), are free. I think they’re going to find a very hard market to sell it in.

Here are the majority of BP and Event weapons I have. I might have missed a couple, like the Solothurn, but I got most of them. Some were individual BP weapons and some were premium or event squad weapons. For the most part, I have at least four of them each.

Some the image quality got worse as I added them, but I think you can see them for the most part. I did not realize I had this many allied and German as I have had most of them for a couple years now and just forget where they came from. As I am always saying, I’ve spent far too much money on this game, but I’m retired and don’t have much to spend on so it’s not a big deal anymore. This doesn’t include pistols I have bought. However, it does piss me off that I’ve spent this much and I can’t even use all the premium squads I’ve bought. Gaijin punishes those who spend a lot apparently.

and to think that they spent time recreating them, I used Google photos and I discovered that the team symbols are even real with mottos in Italian etc, absurd to work on this and then deliberately not make them accessible especially if people ask you, this aside, it would be nice to see at least one, I repeat one, map set in Italy, let’s wait and see, I don’t know what else to say

I was thinking of grinding the M1921 Thompson for the Japanese, but then I realised all the other Japanese SMGs are better than it anyway. Plus, captured weapons sort of take away from the feel of a faction (cough cough ofrenrohr).

I personally, to get around this problem because 11 teams are actually not enough, I created various presets for example before the merger took place I photographed the various campaigns and then I recomposed them via the presets and I renamed them: Normandy (Germany), Berlin (Germany), Tunisia (Italy / Germany), Stalingrad / Rzhev (Germany), Moscow Axis I was missing but I created BR II (Italy / Germany) to use all the low br Italian teams that I had unlocked and that I would not have used for the high br all the presets have 11 teams and so when I want to play with certain teams I do nothing but select them via the preset system… for USSR equals Moscow (Russia), Berlin (Russia), Stalingrad / Rzhev (Russia) Allies I made USA BR V and BR 3 (England / USA), Japan solitaire BR 5

I have the sawed off shotguns as well but forgot as it goes in the pistol slot. 
The sawed off shotgun, the Swartz smg pistol and the Soviet Yazikov smg pistol.

Yes, I have them all too, but let’s be clear, when do you use the gun? Almost never

I cheat, I have a full squad of engineers with six Yazikov’s, I use the Yazikov as their main weapon. It only had three magazines of 15 rounds each, but if I build an ammo crate close to the action I can use them as any ordinary smg. My two Swartz smg pistols I use with a couple snipers for close in fighting. I have a BAR squad with the sawed off shotguns, but they rarely get used.
The Dev’s need to add the Thompson pistol to the Allies pistol lineup.
You can buy a reproduction of it today, but they did have them during the war. but I doubt they were used this way.

When they had the BP store all pistols, including the Yazikov you were allowed to buy six, so I bought six. I consider it one of my better purchases.
