WW2 Chinese Communist Refusal to Fight Japan

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) under Mao Zedong’s leadership initially refused to fight Japan during the Second Sino-Japanese War. The CCP had been engaged in a civil war with the Nationalist Party (Kuomintang, or KMT) since 1927, and the war between the two parties was a significant internal conflict in China. The CCP’s refusal to join the Nationalist forces was partly due to their own internal divisions and the belief that the Nationalists were too weak to mount effective resistance against Japan.

However, the CCP’s stance changed as the war progressed. By 1939, the CCP had built up its forces and began to take positive action to drive the Japanese out. The Red Army, under the leadership of Mao, employed guerrilla tactics and effectively disrupted Japanese operations in the countryside. The CCP’s support for the Nationalist government and its military efforts against Japan were crucial in the war’s outcome.

yes tibet is currently part of china, it was not part of china before the chinese invasion. or only was so to the degree china considered japan and all of south east asia to be part of china. the current colinization of tibet follows the very worst traits of manifest destiny.
Tibet is not recognized as an independent country by any nation in the world; it is considered an autonomous region of China. Historically, Tibet existed as an independent state prior to Chinese rule, with a peace convention in 1914 recognizing its sovereignty. Currently, the Tibetan Government-in-Exile maintains that Tibet is an independent state under unlawful occupation, while the People’s Republic of China claims it as an integral part of China. Thus, the status of Tibet remains a complex and contentious issue in international relations.

While China, particularly the Republic of China (Taiwan), has historically claimed Outer Mongolia, these claims are no longer officially supported by the People’s Republic of China (PRC) or the ROC government. The PRC recognized Outer Mongolia’s independence, and by 1946, both governments had formally done so. The claim from the ROC government was based on the Qing Dynasty’s former territory and was reasserted during the Sino-Soviet split, but this claim was also eventually abandoned.

Historical Claims

After the fall of the Qing Dynasty, the ROC, as its successor, claimed all of the Qing Empire’s territory, including Mongolia, as part of the Republic.

Outer Mongolia declared independence from the Qing Dynasty in 1911, and the ROC attempted to assert control over the region in 1919. However, these attempts were thwarted by the chaos of civil wars and Russian influence.

There were virtually no ethnic Han Chinese in Tibet in 1912, as the region was then a de facto independent Tibetan state with a vast majority of its population being Tibetan. Data from a study of Chinese population shows that in 1912, China had a population of approximately 377.7 million people, but this figure does not reflect a Chinese population within Tibet at that time.

The Chinese, or Han, population in Tibetan areas shows contrasting trends, with a significant increase in the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) in the 2010s, driven by government subsidies and a rail link, reaching 12% by 2020. In contrast, Han populations have decreased or stabilized in other historically Tibetan areas like Qinghai and Sichuan, with the overall Han share in the TAR remaining a small minority despite recent growth.

  • Hankou (part of modern Wuhan): Britain held a concession here from 1861 until 1927.

German

  • Tianjin: Germany had a concession here from 1895 until 1917.
  • Hankou (part of modern Wuhan): A German concession existed in Hankou from 1895 to 1917.

The Weapons were buffed (in all likelihood) to be able to compete to the USSR as a Manchuria Campaign has been heavily requested for a long time and the USSR vs Japan Event showed a lot of problems that they are trying to fix.
There was no Event or anything for the end of the war in asia as there were two events going on at that time already. While three events at the same time is not impossible it’s likely that the devs are focusing on other things rather than yet another event at this time.

So we need some Ethiopian weapon for celebrationg of “War of Resistance Against Italian Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War”!

Nothing like that it comes from poor planning we have 2 on going events so the devs simply didnt think about this when calculating this 2 events…You would not have events like this if you where right:

Now show me what Japanese celebration events the game had? I will tell you 0 so to suggest such thing is ignorant statement.

你好!
Dear friend, I absolutely agree with you that this event should have happened. And the fact that it didn’t is a huge mistake
