I did it. I bought them and played a game with them. It is a really great squad! The low rate of fire makes the gun feel great to control… i got potential to become my favorite new german squad! (and it looks really great)
MP 40 or StG-45 - at close range you still need two hits to kill the enemy, but the MP 40 is faster and has lower recoil.
I would say that StG-45 is very comparable to FNAB-43 from Normandy. Almost the same rate of fire, higher damage at long distance but higher recoil (horizontal recoil !!!).
So - at long range it is bad beacause of the high recoil (worse than StG 44 / MP 43) and at close range - also bad because of the low rate of fire.
Can you say exactly the same for 100m? i guess not. Comparing it to fnab is just hilarious. I guess you don’t own it, because this opinion is joke.
Stg45 is a nice gun.
If. One compare stats, it’s bad.
But once one uses it, it’s such a nice gun.
. Def worth
Do you guys happen to know if support works on weekends, or if I can’t possibly get an answer before Monday?
Dont work in the weekend
Well, f***.
I did the same and made a mistake before, supported refused to refund, ur out of luck
Anyone used the rocket vehicles? Ive wanted them since they launched but dont really play normandy. Think they might be on the cards with merge coming up though.
They as effective as they look?..still want to know what tier/br for nebelwerfer though haha
Halftrack is pretty much just nuke, you’ll kill completely everything (even all vehicles except jumbo) but you run out of rockets very fast and you’ll end with 3 men equipped with smgs because it really isn’t worth to refill ammunition.
Calliope is very inconsistent, if you are playing against god player, you’ll bacome priority and they destroy you so fast because you can spam rockets for minutes. (But you can destroy only pumas + pz 3 and 4 from side)
We don’t know how many BR levels will be, so guessing anything is completely irrelevant
Everytime
I have this squad. They are not worth the money since you will be playing against USSR units with them. If you would be able to use the squad and its StG 45 on for example Normandy maps against the Western Allies in Enlisted than they might be more useful, but against USSR troops in Enlisted they simply are inferior. The USSR automatic weapons you run into are made to be superior to the StG 45 in Enlisted. The StG 44 in Enlisted is markedly superior to the StG 45 in Enlisted, at least in my experience.
The uniform camouflage pattern of the squad, called Leibermuster, has the wrong colours in Enlisted. The uniform colours are far too bright in Enlisted, you stand out with them. Instead of camouflage you become a target with that pattern in Enlisted.
Here is an image of what the real Leibermuster camouflage pattern looked like, the still is from a colour film made by US troops in South-Eastern Germany at the end of WW2 in 1945, the soldier wearing the Leibermuster camouflage uniform is on the far right:
The real Leibermuster camouflage pattern was more subdued in colour and had infrared light absorbant qualities to make the use of night sight equipment against them difficult if not useless.
The German military as a rule developed a counter to new weapons they introduced and with the introduction of German night sight equipment in WW2 they developed the Leibermuster pattern with infrared absorbant qualities in case the enemy also started to use night sight equipment like the German Vampir etc. night sight.
The Germans assumed that their enemies would copy in one form or another whatever new weapons the Germans introduced, which makes sense.
The same happend with the German magnetic anti-tank mine, the Hafthohlladung mine. The Germans developed that mine and developed a counter to it, which was an anti-magnetic paste called Zimmerit.
In like manner the Germans developed and introduced steel “tank skirts”, Panzer Schürzen in German, to protect their Panzer against hollow charge anti-tank weapons like the Panzerfaust which they had developed.
In many cases however the enemy forces facing Germany were not willing and/or able to produce these weapons in WW2 (a Vampir etc. like night sight, Hafthohlladung mine, Panzerfaust etc.) but the Germans generally nevertheless always developed and introduced a counter to their own new weapon at the same time when they introduced a new weapon.
Hows the splash damage? (compare to tank HE)
german halftrack is a nuke
caliope rockets are less powerfull than normal 75 HE.
you can jump on a sherman now, shot a HE round, and caliope will be less powerfull than that.
thanks…main interest was the nebelwerfer anyway. sounds good
nah I dont think this game is worthy to spend any money on.
Yet you are wasting days and hours of your life on its forum. Is that a hypocrisy or just pure stupidity?
No. It’s garbage
Sturmgewehr_45 tells me that the Sturmgewehr_45 is garbage haha
