Would be nice but I want the option to actually play Italians, I don’t care when they joined the allies. Maybe they can be on allied.

in the Enlisted [Italia] community and my international community of suggestions are working on an Italian campaign, mostly 1944: Montecassino, Anzio, Rome, Garfagnana, Emilia-Romagna. Would you like to join?

Sounds great, would love another Italian campaigns where we could enjoy more the Italian stuff.

Coincidentally, I am in the process of making a suggestion for an Italian campaign. I think it’d be a really cool campaign if done properly (i.e. including all nations and giving players a choice in their grind). I’ve also been looking at aerial photos for map ideas.

Just curious, is there any gear which is not a copy of Normandy US vs Normandy Germany + Tunisia Italy?

This pictures could make 2 maps one in the open field to get to top and the other in the town below, nice pictures, was there a real battle here?

Or how about we stop suggesting more European campaigns with the same nations again, and instead fix what we currently have.
In this scenario, giving the axis in Tunisia more Italian stuff and maybe expanding the maps onto Sicily. Not making a western Stalingrad.

Yeah, i would like to saw those campaigns, but those would be only new maps if it would be again USSR vs Germany or Allies vs Germany. But there is also many battles where can be another nations.

For example this is mostly Hungary vs Romania battle. There are some Soviet or German equipment, but still lot of Hungarian and Romanian weapons, tanks and planes.
Or battle for Greece could be nice, Italy vs Greece.
But most campaigns people suggest are “Tunisia with italian maps” or “Moscow with different maps”.

But still, most likely next one will be Pacific, because lot of people here are hyped for Pacific.
And we know what gaijin can do when they see hype.

Well, most of us Italian fans are aware of the “déjà vu” risk, and that the rest of players are more hyped about Pacific front.

Still, even if not as a priority, we would welcome an Italian campaign featuring '43/'44 equipment.

Speaking of maps, depending on which battle the Devs will choose, there may be landings, claustrophobic little towns, and /or possibly fights on steep hills, mountains and valleys, either in summer or winter climate.

Also, as the trend appears to be, there would probably be some kind of unique gimmick feature, like in each new campaign.

Depends on battle, but in most battles there would be no Italians sadly. It would be most likely just “Germany vs Britain/US”.
But there are some interesting battles in Italy they could, soo there is Italian units as well. For example Battle of Garfagnana There could be Germans and RSI vs. Britain, US (Including famous Buffalo division), some Brazilian squadrons and Indian Army.

The question is, what new will it bring?
There’s basically no new equipment for the Italians made during that time. Not much new british stuff either. It’d just be Tunisia with more normandy equipment set in Italy.
Add that on top of the fact that Enlisted’s playerbase can barely support the 5 existing campaigns, the crap ton of glitches and balance issues, the fact that there’s a lot more interesting scenarios to be added and you end up with no reason to add it in possibly the next decade.

Yeah, I’d like to see those scenarios. Though I myself would prefer somewhere in asia next, as the Japanesse really need to be added. Japan vs British Raj could be cool. Or 2nd sino-Japanesse war.
But even then, i do not believe we need a new campaign anytime soon (at least not this year). There’s just too many glitches and problems within the current game I’d like ot see fixed before that (Just think of the G41 reload glitch and how long that’s been around).

Next campaign is for sure Pacific. I just wonder what we will get. We can either get nice and balanced campaigns like Singapore, Invasio of Philippines 1941/1942, and those can be done with least of Japanese wonderweapons. Or we will get late campaigns that will be Japanese Wunderwaffe time.

Yep some bugs really need sorting, shame is they today just released “Make Enlisted better place”, but still no GL nerf.

And yeah, maybe we will get something at years end, and that is big maybe, at least i hope soo. They need to work on curent campaigns and repair as many bugs as they can. Because new campaign will bring many more with it.

I think that both options may appear, given time.

Although you’re not wrong about stretched playerbase and dragged issues, the survival of F2P revolves around pumping out new content. And since we have 3 eastern front campaigns already, vs 2 western front, it is not unreasonable to expect an Italian front campaign to arrive sooner or later.

We aren’t like “gib Italy now”, just speculating about how and when it could arrive

Absolutely

Yet is it what we want? Copy paste but americans vs germans this time instead of soviets?
There’s a lot of other conflicts that would be nicer to add. Even possibly slightly beyond ww2. Not just more copypaste (although that is gaijin’s favourite).
And campaigns aren’t the only things to keep f2p in the game. Especially not Stalingrad-esk ones, which we’re likely to get.
Research overhauls and new content to existing campaigns (that isn’t locked behing more hours of playtime than the avrage player will reach before quitting the game) will help the game a lot more. Same can be said for some other smaller features. For example customisable vehicle loadouts and shells. Add something like this every month and it’ll do better than 1 dissapointing campaign a year that’s esentially forgotten after a single month.

I agree, but a combined Italy/Sicily/Greece campaign
