Conclusion

This is quite shocking to me, as I have never heard of Tiger tanks ejecting S mines. Nonetheless, I welcome this information as I just learned about something I did not know. I hope that this is something that can be added to the game, as infantry won’t be able to just run up to a tank without any consequences and suicide with TNT. Of course, the Tiger will be limited to three S mines before running out of ammunition for the ejectors, so it will not be all-powerful. I hope someone else has learned something new today about the equipment of the Tiger Tank.

My favourite tank was the Panzer 38 T with a full squad and S-mine counter measures…

makes me want to get out the panzer 38T in enlised now im thinking of it :smiley:

This was featured in games as far back as the Close Combat series of RTS titles in the late 90s.

The multiple, fixed launcher system ( Minenabwurfvorrichtung - Wikipedia ) was later replaced by a single point, aimable small grenade launcher: Nahverteidigungswaffe - Wikipedia

Considering the constant spam of explosion packs & tnt this option would be super welcome :smiley:
Maybe as a final vehicle upgrade? Or part of the squad upgrades?

p.s: Explosion packs should be AT squad only. TNT only for engineer squads. Just saying. :3

Since individual AT soldiers in other squads can already equip AT Rifles, Panzerfausts and Bazooka I feel like it should be limited to SQUADS.
This would also give more relevance to using AT squads more in line-ups. As it currently stands, you do not really “need” AT SQUADS for AT duty since every soldier can equip explosion & tnt pack.
