I think that it Will be better that they Spawn times should be longer like 20 secs ( if we use a rally point)

Only if they are allowed to recapture points.

That’s the tradeoff - currently a point can’t be recaptured.

I like this idea, the defenders have to spend far longer on point
a second option would be a threshold
that is the attacker would have to have superiority say two to one over defenders
and the point itself has a small defense score
otherwise a single soldier can take the point

Attacking a capture point shouldn’t be that difficult under normal circumstances
You only need to ensure 1 or 2 respawn points on both sides of the capture point, and your teammates will be able to find loopholes and crawl in like mice that smell the smell, and basically solve the problem.
Not to mention that the current victory conditions are basically comparing which side has fewer idiots.
If your teammates are all idiots, I suggest you just become a deserter.
This is definitely much easier than being forced to go to jail.

Especially when there are only 2 or 3 normal people on the defensive side
Now the attacker has the ability to quickly seize the capture point by just relying on 2 to 3 normal people to clear out the few capable defenders on the capture point.
Sometimes they still have the energy to send out 1 or 2 people to intercept the defender’s idiot.
Increasing the respawn time is very detrimental to the defender

One of the things I dislike about defending at the beginning of a match is that half the time I (as supposedly) being the defender am being shot at from the defense point by the enemy before I have ever got to the defense point. So, technically, I don’t consider that defending at that point since I had never stepped foot into the defense point :joy:. Hell, I have had my whole squads wiped out from the enemy shooting a machine gun from a window of the building I am supposed to be defending. This is only the first game spawn I am referring to. If I start off in an APC, I can kind of understand maybe being a few seconds late to the party, but not starting off from a game prearranged spawning point.

Originally I think just about everyone who was not starting off in an APC started in the defense point, which people complained gave them to much time to lay AP mines and string barbed wire, However in no circumstances should the enemy “EVER” get to the “FIRST” defense point before the defenders. Add to that DF drops people into the game LATE which makes it that much worse if your supposed to be defending. So some DF game tweaks need to be performed. Other then that, you can’t control the idiots, you can only hope they are on the other team. :grimacing:

In most cases, the defending player will respawn from the capture point at the start of the game
Unless your internet connection is bad or you join in the middle
As for other places
When you find that you are about to lose, just commit suicide. After you lose, you can directly change to a team with a rebirth point function to try to give the friendly forces the shortest time to enter the new capture point.

When I am flying, I usually commit suicide if I am shot down and parachute as usually only one of my two pilots survive anyway, and I have to run quite a ways to get to the battlefield, or I don’t even jump out of the plane now. :grinning:

If you parachute outside the playable area, your pilot will teleport to it after a short period of time, so you don’t have to run the 2km+ back.

This means you have to spend more than 30 seconds running to the front
You have to pray that nothing will sneak up on you along this way.
This is a waste of time
Why not just commit suicide and then replace it with the (complete) team to respawn at the friendly spawn point?
