In response to the silver revisions of the next update

This is disappointing, And it saddens me to have to write this post. But I know most of the community is behind me. So let our voice be heard, The proposed changes to silver are minuscule at best. They mean nothing to the bottom 99.9% of players.

Battle Hero reward:

The proposed changes for Battle hero rewards awarding silver are a good idea, But the likelihood of a newer player let alone the average player getting a battle hero reward is next to none for the average match. Even if a battle hero reward is obtained it’s not going to change things much if at all.

I propose to keep the silver gain for Battle hero reward, up its limit of 100 silver to a minimum of 300 silver. The likelihood somebody would obtain 5 battle hero rewards is already quite low for the average/new player. But for those that do they would obtain 1500 silver extra for that match at best.

Join any faction:

20% is quite low, The minimum should be 50% so it will equal The amount gained for popular factions. Players already gain +50% playing as a popular faction constantly shifting to whoever’s winning, All this is going to do is push people to play more popular factions and destabilize the game further creating even more unbalanced situations and frustration. This in turn will drive some new players and some veterans away, As everybody will be looking to gain that 50% instead of the 20%. Not every player will play a popular faction, But majority will only making things harder on newer players.

The simple proposition is +50%-100% for joining any faction, still awarding the additional 50% XP equal to using a faction that is consistently winning at that time. What this will equate to is an additional 50% silver overall and a consistent XP gain No matter if that faction is winning or losing as long as join any faction is active or a player is playing that popular faction.

Research points to silver conversion:

1%… That is minuscule and an insult, especially when someone is being forced to automatically convert research points over 25,000. Many players will choose and already have chosen but have had that choice taken due to the automatic conversion to keep the research points. This conversion does nothing to help the average player, or anyone that’s not sitting on a massive amount of research points This includes newer players, and whether the player has premium or not.

Proposed change:

Increasing the research point cap before conversion to 100,000. This keeps the balance middle ground and completes roughly 55.56-57.47% of an item within Tier V depending on what slot it is in still encouraging players to grind for the rest of that XP. To go along with this points conversion should be at a minimum 5-10%. This would not only help players finishing a faction, But allowing players that have mass amount of XP to see beneficial gain.

This would also allow players to maintain a fair amount of research points towards a single item added to the tree. And in the case of earlier tier items it would extend to fully complete a new item within slot 3 of Tier II or below.

Silver gain issues that currently plague the game:

  • Soldier RNG

This aspect was removed from every other place in the game with the exception to soldiers. Players are buying and selling off soldiers to gain maximum stats always at a loss. This is a massive silver loss. Tier I of any maxed out five-star soldier only awards 2,850 silver. That’s a 150 silver loss. This only gets worse as a soldier tier increases. Tier II is 7500, only awarding 7,125 for selling. Tier III is 9000 only awarding 8,550. Tier IV is by far the worst, 11,500 to recruit and 10,925 return when sold. This equates to 2 soldiers at best with Max stats out of 10. In total per 10 costing 115,000 with a return maxing out the soldiers to sell of 87,400. This cost considerable time and silver.

Recommendation: remove RNG from soldiers stat points to allow them to roll at their highest maximum stat.

Soldier applied perks:

Soldier perk should never be automatically applied unless it is a class specific perk that is in addition to the maximum stat points. For example, Tanker III with 11 mobility, 2 vitality, and 8 handling at 1 star with the bonus perk of 45% speed of gear shift.

This would go a long way to keeping players from having to re-roll perks. As they would come as a blank slate to be utilized where the player wishes. This would save a mass amount of silver.

Recommendation: blank ready to place soldier perk branches, on one star soldiers.

Low silver gain from matches:

This one’s simple, increase the silver gain via hero rewards by 2-3 times and base silver by 10%.

Expensive weapon/pistol cost:

Pistol should not cost the price of a tier III+ weapon, 500 silver is fine for starter pistols. But 2,500 should be the maximum for the best pistol for that faction. Tier II weapons should not cost 1,500 but 1,000, This would help newer players afford things as their silver gain is usually quite low without better equipment.

Further suggestion: Tier III 1500, Tier IV 2500, Tier V 3500.

This would help balance prices and fix, items costing as much for “easily replaceable upgrades” when a player has a better alternative.

The above further suggestion for tier V would be to balance out less silver cost in the earlier tiers by raising its price slightly, and keeping players in the game longer while still keeping accessibility and acceptable silver costs.

These are some reasons the developer made changes are useless, and insulting.

Thank you for your time reading this to player, to developer, to anyone that loves enlisted.

Pistol prices doesnt exactly bother me due to there being the economical option.

But Mp40 costing as much as Stg44 & Upgrading costs just as much is quite illogical.

My opinion:

  • battle hero rewards (up to 500 silver) - good bonus

  • join any faction - should be at least +30 % bonus

  • conversion of research points - 100 to 1 looks tiny, but it is still 100- 200 silver more

I earn about 2000- 3000 silver per match, so it will give me about 50 % more silver :+1:

look at it like this:
join stacked faction and there is 90% chance of victory and 50% bonus xp
join underdog faction (most likely for join any) and you get +30% and you also roflstomped.

for this conversion rate id rather keep the points. Its joke.

It should be by far greater reward for “join any”
And even if it was, im quite sure the stacks will still play the current OP faction regardless what ever it is.

like i said in original topic, join any should be minimum 50% if not more. i would like progressive bonus up to 100% xp which you lose when you desert. you would get 10% for every join any battle and after 10 battles you have 100% bonus xp. desert once and that progress goes back to 0 and you have to start again. this way you are combating multiple problems at same time and it is worth playing underdog faction and staying in battle at same time.

To join any have any effect it should be atleast the same as u get for regular win.
Preferably even slightly more to have actual incentive to use join any.

But as with pretty much every last update & event and what else. Devs seem to be quite clueless.

Not really, because if I wait 10 minutes to get 90 % chance of victory, this means a match against the bots with low XP and silver reward and 50 % xp bonus do not change that much.

Overall - people are complaining - “please give more silver / give more gold / lower cost of weapons”, but they forget that things they propose will make the game cheap and too easy :face_with_peeking_eye:

you dont even need to wait long for match. even with shit games your earnings per minute are still way over underdog team cause you can easily kill enemies and you get 50% win bonus. when you are underdog against stacked team you sometimes cant even show yourself before getting shot by 2-3 players at same time.

maybe people enjoy playing the game and not the grind? i have never understood mentality that harder grind= better game.

That’s the exact reason I mentioned balancing with tier V weaponry, it will still keep things a little grindy but it won’t be as bad. Adjusting vehicle prices can also be another point, Some of the higher tier vehicles can cost more depending on where they’re located in the tree. players should at least have the option to arm themselves to play in whatever tier they want or the tools to work toward it in reasonable amount of time. I’ve known quite a few people that have seen games similar to enlisted amount of grind picked it up and played it for a few weeks and then uninstalled never to play it again because they simply didn’t have the time or they found it incredibly frustrating with the lack of progress.

You don’t have to make things cheap and easy, just acceptable. You also have to look at it as a person paying a cost not just with in-game currency but time invested. If someone doesn’t see the effort and time being worthwhile and profitable to their enjoyment they would walk away. Each person sees their time and effort threshold as higher or lower then others largely due to other responsibilities outside of a game. So if that time invested is not enjoyable it makes for a quick easy choice. Not everyone can be the top 1% of the enlisted community, not everyone has that talent or that time.

It would be easy to say that those individuals can just “buy silver, squads, buy things that cost research points, etc” But you have to remember some people flat out refuse to spend money on games unless it brings them that enjoyment. Throwing money at a problem doesn’t fix it.

Over the last year and a half I’ve sunk countless hours, and at least $1,000 into enlisted. Just upkeep my premium, buy premium squads, Buy gold, buyout events and occasionally the overpriced silver. Not every player has that luxury.

Pistols shouldn’t cost more than 500 silver. 3k silver is just insanity.

I am all for better silver payouts, but the silver payout needs to be higher for the cannon fodder team as well. They can change silver payout amounts all they want, but until their is some reward to the losing side for them to stick around while being seal clubbed, the desertion levels will remain high.

Even the “grind” is arguably easier than pre-merge, for average f2p player the current grind is like a second job.
And im quite sure fair share of ppl doesnt consider it as worth it.
