This is just SLOPPY this entire event has been SLOPPY
- Reusing of assets from previous events and possibly previous games (Cant say for sure on the previous games but definitely on events)
- Lacklustre rewards for free players
- A BATTLEPASS for a 12 DAY EVENT
- Meagre recompensating for this lazy event
- New weapons locked behind a paywall
- 20 GBP (Or equiv.) for a weapon skin and a slightly different Thompson
- Very few Silver Crates that aren’t even guaranteed to drop anything good. Hope you enjoy your outfit tokens because your going to be drowning in them.

Could be worse. Could be another new class/ feature they paywall or put into events that never appear again beyond lootboxes.

no it’s not.
we are literally bowing down with little rewards for problem that they caused in the first place.
the only right course of action was to literally make a secondary event with gold as rewards, to get the bp.

people asked for GO and in the end its taken away for a 26% off of 4k worth of gold that turned out to be 740 per gun. next they probably would take away the silver boxes and replace it with gold boxes

That should’ve been obvious from the reception of the Halloween BP.
To be blunt, this sounds like a weak excuse to not fix the event.
DarkFlow has a regrettable history of making promises that go unfulfilled. There was intense backlash for locking content behind a paywall for the Stalingrad campaign, the Halloween event, and now the current April Fool’s event, and yet here we are again. Why should we believe you this time, given the dev’s history of ignoring community feedback?
I also must point out that this in no way addresses the feedback given for paid BP, the title is a bit misleading. Adding more lootboxes ≠ getting rid of paywalled content for events.
These are nice improvements, but fail to address the real reason why so many dislike the event.
This would be more believable if the April Fool’s event wasn’t monetized the exact same way the Halloween event was.

Taking feedback or listening does not mean agreeing or complying. They simply have to hear what you say not agree with it.

The change could have been better, but I’m a little hopeful for the future of this game. Considering the players’ anger, a better change could have been made, but it’s not a bad start. Please consider an event with squads. I’m sure the inconvenience will be much less with the arrival of a few squads in a month or two. Please make up for the lack of work in the last four months, and regain our trust.

I think I spent a million on the first go then started to hate the idea of having 800% exp bonus and not maximizing its use. Its always a net loss in the end because DF is not trying to lose money. They are just using a credit sync to drain the silver in hopes people will buy digital assets. Its common in gaming now and a terrible way to take advantage of people being addicted to a dopamine hit. I buy a year premium and roll my BP over. The game is worth both those. I think shop stuff is overpriced but they must be selling something because people are buying. Reminds me a bit of Rocksmith 2.99 since the beginning of time for a song until last month they had a 90% off sale and sold an insane amount of DLC.

It would just have been nice to have an enjoyable event befitting of the game, I truly don’t care if you bleed the whales and the forum whiners dry…
