Squad presets are currently half-assed solution that is somewhat alleviating problem for fast BR switching, but they are plagued by one big problem: you need to equip multiple different squads with soldiers and weapons, not to mention you need to have squads available to actually equip them. F2P players need 8 squads for 2 BR or 20 squads for 5 BR, while premium with full slots need 20(or 22) squads for 2 BR or 50(55) for all 5 BR. Even veterans who have been with the game since beginning dont have enough squads for multiple presets, not to mention new players.
So that is why presets need improvement.
Have squad presets save equipped weapons/equipment on specific soldiers
Have squad presets save current soldier configuration in squad. If specific soldier is not available(e.g. sold), then provide prompt and either leave empty slot or put any available soldier there.
This will give players option to reuse same squads and soldiers on different BR and make playing different BR easier.
Ive been asking for it for a while now, glad to see Im not the only one, being able to set squad loadouts pre-set based on the BR your using would be great.
i just want option to reuse same squads with different weapons. it is quite annoying needing to have multiple squads if you want to run some setup, not to mention equipping those squads. currently BR switching with presets is mainly thing for people who completed few campaigns premerge, while it is luxury for people post merge.
This would be nice, even now regardless ive got GE squads for BR2 BA action & BR5 separately switching the squads to roster could and should be alot easier.
Especiatly as with this kind of system I could use the swords / pistols in either group compared to current system where I have to manually switch them.
It’s especially infuriating when T-28E and IS-1 are in the same squad, and depending on when you forget to switch them, you’re either sent to high BR with otherwise low BR army or you’re in high BR Berlin with a T-28…
one of the reasons why i want weapon/vehicle memory when i save preset. experimenting with squads you have saved in preset can easily move you to BR you dont want to play(or make you underequipped).
ideally i would also want for preset to save map likes/dislikes for specific BR. e.g. i dont really have use for banning tunisia maps when i am playing BR5 germany or US.
