You didn’t see the fact they pumped all 10 shots from the pistol into me within a second or two. Which I then tried in a training session and couldn’t match.
And no, this player was frequently on the scoreboard using the C96 or Luger.
I use pistols a lot, hell, even routinely get kills with the Nagant 1896, but never seem to get as many rounds off as that Player did…
I think a possible way to give a trade off for fully kitting a soldier is with stamina. Giving a soldier an LMG, pistol, 4 grenades, and medkit would make it hard to run. Each item could have a stamina cost, draining stamina faster when sprinting. Alternatively this could mildly impact movement speed. This would also make stamina and movement perks, which I generally don’t use, more important.
Semi auto weapons should definitely have a fire rate cap, but it should be at or above 10 shots/second. More to prevent cheating than spamming. Spamming should be prevented with recoil in my opinion.
While automatic weapons are great, bolt actions will always be more versatile and have a higher skill cap due to their higher accuracy and damage.
It’s already here. If you have 20kg on you, you have about 2/3 of the sprint range with only a rifle.
As you see it works so “good” that most people don’t even notice it.
No. Only things that affect your speed are LMGs and AT rifles as far as I know. And only if you have them in hand (so if you switch for example to a knife, there is no penalty).
That much is true, and I found something even weirder: the SWORD seems to give even MORE sprinting speed than the knife. I swear, I feel like the Flash when wielding it.
But that’s a problem dude. Myself and tons of others want to unlock these weapons and equip them on all of soldiers, and if you’re grinding hours and hours on end then they deserve the ability to do that.
