Its designed so they are weaker look at facts. The allies and USSR get everything. Its very unfair but ima play regardless this game will slowly die if not giving the right attention.
I think that really depends on the BR since Soviets are clearly much Stronger in BR3 than other faction, I for one honestly believe that USSRâs weakest and emptiest BR is BR1 but no one has ever been bothered by that or suggested new SMG or attacker aircraft for BR1⌠Everyone suggests powercreep for new weapons and vehicles especially for high BRs.
European Axis get 1 tech tree weapon/vehicle per major update while other factions get 2-3 on average, I agree that Japan needs more content at the moment but then at least that one item should be something the faction really wants instead of a 8th Panzer IV tank (which did happen before).
In the last major update (Burma), Axis did really get something they wanted for over a year, the 100 round MG42 but US also immediately received it as premium⌠Frustrating to say the least.

Didnât the same rhetoric applies for allies? The m9 was sufficient to destroy every axis tanks from the sides. And only tigers and panthers were protected from the front.
They gave allies the axis rocket launcher anyway (huge lack of imagination from DF on this)
So⌠Why canât Japan have a better one as well?

Thatâs not true.
Not to mention that before US AT lauchers got their penetration values fixed. It was very hard for M9 to even penetrate tigers from the side. And you need know to where to aim and have good angle for it.
I didnât say they canât get better one. I said that theyâre not in desperate need of it.

I never had issues with the m9⌠itâs scoped, has tremendous range, preciseâŚ
In fact even today I only use the m9 (I find the axis one ridiculous for allies) and I still use the PIAT for my Commonwealth lineupâŚ
Similar situation with Japan atm, really.
But allies got the big axis RL anyway⌠I say itâs fine Japan gets a good thing as well.

Oh yes 100% true. On BRII soviets are slightly better than Germs, on BRIII much better.
True what you said about BRI as well.
I was mainly talking BRV.
About the other point. This one is sort of difficult because yes, Soviets gets to much stuf in events, while Japs rarely get anything. But at the same time, the TT of soviets is rather empty. While germs is completely filled. So it makes sence Germans get little in the TT.
But overal, the balance of new stuf is wack. US got nearly everything last update while others got nothing. Then next update it will be equally wacky. They should balance it so every faction gets something new.
Germany for 1 and definitely Japan get very under looked. Allies and USSR always get the toys first. Even at that Axis can still hold their own depending on teamwork and what ever else. Frustrating is an understatement but ill not continue to complain about it because it dosent benefit Axis forces in any way.
