Yes, it’s likely they had no idea it was an SS paint Job or Unit Tactical symbol, there art work in game is not that discerning, it’s quiet sloppy really in the realism department.
But maybe they knew and were not bothered by it.
The interesting thing of course is they have now offended a great many by removing it

ok, i might have not expressed myself correctly. What i wanted to say was that the devs, that are russian, don’t care about this PC crap and they provided a historically correct product. The rest of the world (meaning us) got triggered by the insolence of this historically correct product and set out to ruin it. That’s what i wanted to say when i said " i don’t see any russians complaining here about such issues"

I actually played against W*stedW**dsman the other day
We lost, they over-flanked and blocked or destroyed rallies. Only tanks I saw were 76W shermans. I was levelling my dinky 3 man FG42 II squad and got laserbeamed by M2 carbine somehow.

Blame the bots for that, they are literal gods with the M2 carbine while we puny mortal players need to close to a reasonable distance.

How about removing NKVD uniforms and units related to it ? From what i know they were not friendly either … they should try it and see how will soviet community reacts
