why are you so upset all of the sudden?

I don’t feel much
The problems with point 5 and the conclusion are questions that only casual players or unskilled newcomers can express.

The advanced environment is an environment that allows outstanding players to use equipment without restrictions.
This is why a guy who hasn’t even figured out how to use terrain and skills will be massacred here.

Fighting is a learning process
However, equipment level does not mean having the same level of ability.
This is why development time is needed
Newcomers need time to learn skills, upgrade equipment and stay where they should be
This way there won’t be more idiots with poor skills crying about being slaughtered.
It can also reduce the chance that normal players will be poisoned by these idiots.

cause he cant get BR5 weapons although he spent loads of cash even though he has “skill”.

How demanding do you want to be for a free game?

can be bought
However, using gold coins to directly unlock silver coin weapons is not cost-effective.
But if you take your blood pressure and time into consideration, it’s actually quite cost-effective.

1: The gray zone only shifts after an objective is taken and the battle moves. The map will flash in the area that is changing. So the change is not “out of nowhere”. If you are flanking too much, the grayzone is still visible on the map. You do have a certain amount of time in the grayzone before it kills you as well. so if you need to make a quick blitz through it you can. This is more to do with map awareness.

2: I believe this was fixed in a recent patch

3: It is annoying, but it is to my knowledge historical … I still would support its removal though.

4: I haven’t seen controls go dead for me outside of having wings and such shot off planes, as such, I would need to see to form an opinion or what to do here. If it can be replicated; def report it to the bug portal: Gaijin.net // Issues

5: BR 4-5 generally are more experienced players, so knowing maps and such should come with the territory. Just got to outplay them or flank to get the rally.

6: The in-game AI is more like ducklings following a mamma duck (yes, I stole this analogy from someone on the steam forums, but it really is a good one), to expect much from them is to over-expect from them. To my knowledge they do not learn from your behavior, if they did good players AI would be good and bad players AI would be bad.

Long beta isn’t a bad thing for polishing. It depends on what the beta is for. Many games just use a short beta to test server performance. Games like Enlisted are using beta more for mechanic polishing, and there is nothing wrong with a long beta for that. I will say over the past 3 years, Enlisted has become MUCH better than it used to be. Shivers with the remembrance of the academy

You say it is too long to get equipped to win. How long should it take and what weapons and squads do you feel would be needed to do such. We may be able to get a good solid suggestion from that info.

For me, I’m one of those psychopaths that occasionally brings BR 1 stuff to BR 5 on purpose yet still top frags and helps my team win anyway. Having top gear is not completely necessary if you have good map knowledge and tactics. With premium, a good player should easily be getting 2000-2500 silver a [20min] match or more. Even when I did my F2P account run to test the new progression out, I was still getting 1200 silver a game while using only bolt actions and some early SMGs.

You speak the language of gods

You know, that actually makes sense, however making sense has no place here in Enlisted.

You have LowBR weapons and start playing BR 4-5?! Guess the error. Why you playing high BR and blame the game? Blame yourself if you get farmed while not being properly equipped.

The new economy system allows you to get weapons / tanks / planes very fast and far cheaper…start playing high BR if you have ENOUGH high level stuff. A friend of mine grinded BR 3-5 stuff in Japan during 2 weeks without bigger problems. So it won’t take “thousand years” like you say. Oh and he haven’t played for hours. Being good and not average and you get many silver and XP.
Btw getting 100 kills and more in custom battles or like you say “hosted” is not really good. Even underaverage players managed to get these - specially with good weapons im these sort of battles.

All in all I see a player blaming the game for his own mistakes (ofc the game was bugs - without a question).

Nope…but Canadians are very tasty!

Just to give you an update, I went back to lower BR, but went back 4 and 5 and learned to adapt.

I have seen the only way to be good is to be really aggressive.

Last night I was going against a guy who was really good at using cover on his tanks. He was wiping my teams out. I thought he was cheating but reviewing told me he was just good at using cover and not broadcasting his position, and have stronger tanks.

Aggression works. But so does flanking.

The trick I found to be effective, is adaptation. Learn the maps, learn where the points are, learn where the chokepoints are, and adapt.

I assume the enemy tanker had figured out the best place to put his tank, and used it to his advantage.

Remember, battlefields are fluid.

Glad to see you’re persevering with it though.

Thanks for your informed response…

I have now been wiped out by the grey zone as close as 70km to the objective!!!
In a tank I can usually forget about trying to get back because the tanks are slow in reverse and it can take a good minute to get the thing turned around. I got nuked because the tank wouldn’t go through a tent and got stuck in it somehow. It can’t be hard to give you at least more time to get back on the battlefield…2 minutes would be fair for tanks and one min on foot or another faster vehicle.

IMA noob here, but an OG as far as FPS is concerned.

Having top gear isn’t necessary, but my kills went way up when I got the M2 and had full auto option.

AFA controls going dead, I was hitting a hotkey and I just changed my keyboard mapping.

I also have the handicap of being extremely rural and lag can make me have a bad time. Sometimes I can get a good connect with a low ping and I will slay, most of the time I dont. But I’m learning to adapt.

If I can move like Quadro and Paradivision I’m as good as they are, but that might be once or twice a week. I have tried to work with my ISP, but there is nothing I can do about it but move into town.

If you have not experienced what lag can do to you try having a couple of youtube videos going in the background on a 30 mbps connection and a min 60ms ping. You can see your enemy before he sees you, and you are dead before you can fire.

I’m premium and has spent some extra as well.

Flanking is my thing, but the greyzone is what does me in 90% of the time.

That sounds like something I would hear Terrance and Philip say on South Park, right after his women queefed in his face.

That’s the spirit!

Yeah, the grey zone needs to be seriously enlarged as some maps you can only do a frontal attack, and some you can set up flanking positions, but you can NEVER set up positions behind the front lines, which sucks since you can drop paratroopers and you have APC which COULD get you a spawn point behind enemy lines, if only they didn’t die trying to drive through the grey zone trying to get there.

Just the other day, Allies vs Germans with Germans trying to set off the bomb. On one side, you have the river and you can go quite a ways to the other side, but with experienced opposition, they had all the buildings manned so there was no way in. I tried to drive my APC around to the rear which worked like a charm, till I hit the idiot “Soldier you must return to the battlefield” bullshit. In reality it should have just told me to return to the killing field and die like a good little soldier. Anyway, had it allowed me to stop behind their positions, it would have given us another approach to the target, or at the very least would have caused some of the enemy to have to guard the rear areas. But in DF’s ultimate wisdom, ingenuity isn’t allowed. So, we’re forced like cattle into a killing zone instead of using our ingenuity. Some maps allow for it, but to many don’t. And it wasn’t like I was trying to go a kilometer behind enemy lines, just ONE CITY STREET! I got 2/3 of the way to the next street and got the turn around message, which I promptly told to go f**k yourself as I was tired of dying the preferred way, so I turned the corner and went as far as I could go…Then died meaninglessly.

One of the basic concepts of war is flanking and encircling, maybe someone at DF should look into this.
