My Grandfathers Sturmartillerie batallion only had the single 20mm ones at the time they were deployed, but thatās all they had and that is how they were used a lot of the time, as a force multiplier.

Iāve bombed so many AA guns because enemies use them to kill infantry and forget planes exist in the game. And Iām not even that great at using planes. The only time AA guns are really a problem is in hallways or doorways.
For me the worst problem with AAA is that it can be built indoors. Itās immune to tanks in there and breaks the immersion some more (not that there would be much of it left even without this atrocity).

AA is for cowards that arent cool enough to beat their teammates to the vehicle slots and not good enough to simply play a sniper.
You gave me even bigger reason to use it against infantry. Especially when youāre around OP.

If need be get throwing range on some of your soldiers, itās usually worthwhile anyways, especially now that you canāt mess up knowing if the soldier has throwing range or not
But still is very satisfying shot down the annoying JU 188 in Normandie
I agree, the real problem is that unrealistic possibility (kind of BF stile) of build an AA inside a 12x12ā roomā¦ and donāt forget built ten AT obstacles in the same room either!
Another thing , why russians, americans, etc. use the same 20mm AA gun? And why a 20 mm gun just canāt penetrate 10 mm of armor, but a 14.5 PTRD does?
