Also keep in mind while official doctrine in the US forces said that the Garand was standard issue, if you pestered your CO enough, you could practically get your hands on any weapon in US service, so 9 man BAR and Thompson squads are historically accurate too.
Started in 1949 actually. The first batch of AK-47 were made during 1949 to 1951, only was deployed and tested near moscow and Western Group of Forces at DDR. After late 1952 they changed a way of production fromm Press to NC, and that is a AK we know.

I mean, Soviets haven’t even participated at korean war. Just like There can’t be PPS-43 at Pacifics, AK-47 Can’t be at korea.

They already said they cut off things by their usage in that faction and the year. It may fit the Year limit, but not the factions. Same thing as there can’t be a PPSh at Normandy.
