Idea for TNT, and tank problem

Well then, I guess you can figure it out on your own.

I like it all except for the the TNT packs still being in the game.

Let’s add some skill and strategy to the game, and get rid of all the chimp weapons.

instead of attacking other fourm users and instead try to reach a compromise via a GIVE/TAKE

I love almost all your ideas, I just am really against the throwable det packs.

Explosive packs are perfect the way they are. Good tankers are already seal clubbing entire teams all by themselves, take away the explosive packs or limit them and is free real estate.

maybe 75% AP and 25% HE for AT cannons?

Mayby i should make new topic about my idea i got right now. There is many topics about how people DONT want nerf AT weapons or buff tanks and how every AT weapon just suck except TNT.

So perfect solution would be… Make tanks unrepairable if they suffer severe damage. That would be historical accurate and realistic, tankers didnt repair their tanks in field after engineblock got destroyed.

That would not really affect tnt cause typically it just destroy tank. right?

But it would buff all other AT weapons. Got at rifle? just shoot turrets bearing and destroy gear box and tank is pretty much disabled.

Also that way tanks dont get buffed cause ā€˜only realiable’ at weapon got removed.

Imo that is just perfect solution to ā€˜TNT OP, TNT only AT, TNT whatever’ problem we have today.

It is also very cartoony as you say that tanks drive into enemy squads without fear.

I am against the very popular demand to nerf TNT charges. Especially in regards of capability to destroy vehicles and barriers.

If you want diversity and have the urge to save the rare species of hand grenades I suggest to BUFF hand grenades.

Possbilities:

  • Make hand grenades cheaper: 1 bronze.
  • Increase blast radius

The only debuff I would accept for TNT charges would be in effectiveness against infantry.
So for example: You cannot kill infantry with TNT charge first. Just down them. Only with second charge they can be killed.

I guess hand grenades weight less than explosive pack, so a 1:2 space ratio could also be introduced. You either take 1 explosive or 2 grenades.
